Are DVD-/+V or DVD-/+VR disc's recorded on a standalone (CE) DVD recorder meant to be compatible with PC DVD devices? Can you direct me to an information source? Thanks, new Samsung DVD-VR330 owner.

logitech quickcam messenger webcam problem

I've been having a problem with my webcam. Whenever I use the logitech software or msn messenger to use the video/picture function, the image always fuzzy. (Looks like tv static or sumthing). I tried using other webcams but i get the same problem, any suggestions??.

What Happened To My DVD-ROM?

I have XP Pro running and suddenly my dvd player does not appear in my system tree so, of course, I'm unable to use it to play dvd's. It does appear in the Device Manager without any warning flags (this device is working properly)and I have tried uninstalling it and rebooting.

I bought this off an auction recently, and my PC doesn't recognize it at all. Even when I plug in the USB, nothing. I've read posts earlier when some people said its worked fine for them once they plug it in, but it doesn't seem to be working at this end.

Problem with Video card

Ok my ATI Radeon X1300Pro was working with no problems yesterday. I when to ATI site downloaded the new 6. 12 update so i install it. Now today i can't get my computer to boot up nothing nothing. So i try to swap the cards for my old one and it work ok.

I assembled a computer with the following parts: asus p5b motherboard pentium d 2. 8 (775) vortex tx cpu fan x850xt pcie vid card (ide hd/cd drive) When I turn on my system, the screen doesnt respond at all.

MOUSE SUDDENLY QUIT

I am running XP. This morning my mouse suddenly stopped working. Tried safe mode, tried re-booting. Seems like it tries to work (I can see it move for a second) then no longer works once it boots up to the logon screen.

Question about RAM

My parents just bought me a stick of 1GB DDR 400MHz ram. I installed this and left the original 256mb stick in. The 256mb stick is DDR 333MHz. When I right click on my computer it says I only have 1GB of RAM when I have more.

DVD Player Blues

Running an XP Pro OS and all of a sudden my dvd-rom is not producing any video. Sound comes through just fine but no picture, nothing but a plain green then blue screen when asked to play a disc. Device Manager says everything's in order and player is still set for region 1.

Yeah, this time my problem is a bit larger than USB =p I build this computer a few months ago: AMD 64 3800+ X2 Dual Core @ 2. 1 GHz 1GB DDR2 Corsair XMS2 RAM eVGA 7600 GT KO Motherboad is Asus M2N4-SLi 320GB 7200RPM Seagate HD.

USB storage device problem!!!

Hey guys I have a USB 1. 1 storage that has never really worked bery well on my dads PC. I plugged it in yesterday and it came up with the little dialog saying 'New hardware detected' ect. . . . It did this on his PC occasionally.

Strange sound problem HP Pavilion DV6013EA Laptop

Hello all, I am having a strange sound problem on a HP Pavilion DV6013EA. While using Windows XP no sound comes from the laptops speakers, however sound does come from a pair of headphones. While using Puppy Linux sound comes from the laptops speakers, but not from the headphones.

I work at an organization that pushes down master images for workstations. We then customize them for our particular portion of the company and push them down to our users. Problem 1: The latest image we received only allows certain brands of removable storage devices.

new USB2 card does not appear in device manager

I have plugged in a new USB2 card to an old gigabyte motherboard (2001) and flashed the bios and got windows right up to date. The device does not appear in the device manager. Does that mean the problem is with the motherboard? What do I check? Thanks.

I know you have some other posts here on this Logitech Issue, but I cant really make head or tail out of them. I plugged the cam in BEFORE installing the cd. So what should I do now. Should I unintall something? Should I install the cd anyway.

Stuck at XP Welcome Screen

Help! My computer will not boot past the XP welcome screen. I called Dell Tech Support and they told me that I probably just need to reinstall the OS and that my data is probably gone. I am not going to believe that- I cannot believe that- there is very important information on the computer.
