problem with my mag innovision scanner

My computer will not pick up my Mag scanner and I have installed the IO PORT software and my twain drivers and still nothing. It powers up but the computer just won't reconize it. I am running Windows XP.

SATA hard drive format

AMD Athlon XL 2210, 512MB Ram, Windows 2000 SP4 w/rollup1. I have five hard drives. . . 3 are IDE. . . 2 via motherboard. . . 1 via pci ide card. 2 drives are WD 250gig and 320gig sata via pci sata controller card.

Dell Dimension 2400 Problems

Friend has a dell dimension 2400 and it wont turn on,i took the side case off and pluged in the power cord and then pluged in for the internet. then started to hook up the monitor and it was very loose where you screw in for it to stay in tight.

I want to get another HDD for my PC to use as well the one that is already in it. I looked in my PC and both IDE ports are taken but on the cable connected to my current HDD there is another plug attactched.

Insufficient USB Bandwidth when trying to use SKYP

I've just installed SKYPE, with a webcam and a Voip/Skype phone. My computer is very unhappy with these; it will operate either the webcam or the phone but not both at a time. I get the message that there is Insufficient USB Bandwidth.

Just a quick question as I don't have much time to research this before I order, but does anyone know if, with the new FX series of AMD processors if you can just use one processor on the dual socket MB? I would imagine you could but I haven't really been anble to find it anywhere.

I am running windows xp pro SP2 and recently bought a PCI card adding 4 USB 2. 0 ports. I originally have USB 1. 1 ports. Anyways, I installed all the drivers and what not, and the ports seem to work with every USB device I can find except my ipod.

I have just bought a new MP3 player and a CD with music to put on. I connect it up to the computer with everything done properly, and then the mouse freezes. The first time i connected it up a little balloon saying New hardware found.

I'm trying to get a Zonet modem card to work with Suse 10. 0 in my Acer TravelMater 290 I've read that the Zonet card works but haven't gotten Suse to recognize it. Any tips?.
