I have a question if I may : what Ethernet Controller driver do I need for an Iqon Quintal 2028 desktop PC ? Background - I'm trying to connect friend's new PC (see title) to broadband. It came with Vista, but I've installed XP in a new partition.

I have an old Dell Dimension 8200 and I recently bought a 256 MB Visiontek ATI Radeon X1050 to replace the 64 MB GeForce4 Ti 4200 it came with. The performance increase has been a little underwhelming.

DO NOT INSTALL SP2!!!! I downloaded SP2 ona practically vrigin install of WinXP Home. On re-boot after what it claimed was a sucessful installation the desktop hung and then the start bar kept appearing and disappearing forcing a hard re-boot.

Is there anything I have to do to install windows xp on my SCSI drive? It's an old computer. . . Do I have to download anything first or anything like that? Or can I just pop in the windows xp disk and just go from there? Any help would be much appreciated.

My son has an old p3 machine on which we run win98 to play old games, he had a 20gb hard drive and wanted to upgrade to an 80gb. The drive is not seen by his machine. It will work on my p4 as master and slave, and using my machine I have formatted it to FAT32 and installed win98se.

I just built a new system and planned to run 3 monitors like I did on my previous system but it does not work. Previously in XP I ran an ATI all in wonder in the agp slot and a second PCI video card for my third monitor.

I think I erased it by mistake deleting files that was causing my computer to malfuction. An error comes up that it can't find the multimedia audio controller driver. The Multimedia Audio Controller Drivers were lost some kind of way.
