I have Puppy 300, Compaq Presario laptop 1200US with original Conexant modem and a new Xircom modem. I configured the Puppy dialup wizard connection. Puppy recognizes the Xircom card only. However, it can't make the connection.

I have a Dell Dimension 9100. Today during normal operations, I got the blue screen failure in windows. After a reboot, the computer would not come up. It was failing at the mup. sys. I think this was due to a conflict with some devices.

Hi I have P III with 1. 13A cpu with 256 MB ram, but know i want to increase one more 256 mb ram into it but when i add 256mb ram into it the systems starts but after an hour or so it gets hangs up and i have to restart the machine as i use Autocad and WinXp for that reason i want to increase the memory.

Hey, I've just got a 5. 1 audio setup for my pc. It has two input modes, AUX and AC3. AUX Requires me to plugin only one socket to my motherboard while AC3 requires all 3 sockets. 1. Is AUX-in connected to the normal line out on the pc really 5.

My HD is showing full when I know it is only 50% full. This is the second time it has happend, the first time an engineer fixed it but that costs money. I was going to uninstall/reinstall XP but that is beyond my capabilities.

hi. Having trouble playing my dvd`s after ive burnt them. I burn a movie from pinnacle 9 in my optiarc dvd rw 7170A and then try to watch it on the pc and I get the messagewindows cannot read from this disk.

Toshiba Laptop wouldn't boot from DVD-rom...

I was trying to restore WinXP system on my Toshiba laptop, using the included restoring DVD. However, it wouldn't boot from the DVD even though I held key 'C' down while powering up the computer (as instructed by the manual).

Logitech G9 Cursor problem help please

I bought new G9 Logitech mouse, plugged to usb (mouse is plug&play) and i can use right and left buttons, scroll too but i cant move my cursor. Please help me, i uninstalled old software and installed new, but software (SetPoint) only give more options, not needed to use normal functions.

Hi, My computer now blue screens with this message. I believe it started happening after I upgraded to the latest version of Norten virus software. If I disconnect my computer from the internet, it boots fine.
