problems with sound card pls help me

i recently upgraded my os with win xp pro from win xp home edition. every thing works fine except it doensn't play any sounds i downloaded latest drivers and installed them but it doesnt work. my system details are gigabyte 945 mother board core 2 duo processor geforce graphic card 7200 series pls help me.

I really need some answers on this, it's driving me crazy. . . The last time that I booted in Windows XP Professional, the keyboard and the mouse stopped working after everything was loaded. Until then, they worked.

This isn't the first time this has happened and usually I just reboot the computer and the sound is back. This time I went to device manager and found: Microsoft Kernel Wave Audio Mixer Cannot load the device driver.

Another Blue Screen Of Death Problem

Hey Everyone! I have a somewhat minor dilemma. The blue screen of death has been knocking on my door alot recently, exept my system does not have ANY problems with the motherboard overheating etc. that would be the standard reasoning behind it.

Hard drive file problem =(

So i will try to describe this problem im having the best i can. I took my old hard drive out of my computer and put it in my newer computer. The newer computer has a existing hard drive which i have plugged in as master and the older hard drive is plugged in as slave.

Weird power pulsing problem

This morning my second computer started playing up, it seemd to have no power, even the fans could only run at very slow speeds. I thought the PSU was faulty so I put a spare Thermaltake 750 watt PSU in.

no sound driver on laptop or computer

hi all a couple of problems. . . 1st. . both my desktop and laptop seem to be missing a sound device and/or driver. i need to know how to fix this problem. 2nd. . i tried installing realtek ac97 audio software and it has somehow removed the cd drive on the laptop.

Custom install CD with extra drivers?

Is there any way to add drivers to the XP installation so I could finally get rid of the goddamn legacy 3. 5 floppy drive? I'm trying to install XP on a serial ata hdd but it won't be recognised unless I give the drivers on a floppy disk(not even a USB floppy will do).
