okay i know that ppl have previously posted this problem several times before but i have tried turning off the power from the back of my tower, and reinstalling the driver and changing different usb ports but non of it works.

GTX285 always running at full load.

Before this, everything works fine. My card auto goes into 2D mode when idle and into 3D performance when I playing games. After installed some basic program and Vista update. After boot into Vista, the clock speed is always running at 648MHZ even idle.

Thought people would catch up, but by the continued complaints, I see it ain’t so. Took me two months to learn the simple, so guess I should share it. SATA drives will many times not boot, with the error “system drivers not loaded” or similar – “cannot find…” Your bootable cd-rom must incorporate extcd.

Everything seems to be ok until i try to use the webcam on yahoo messenger. Then all i get is a blank, black screen although it tells me that everything is going through alright. What have i done wrong? lol.

Well, I violated my own policy. . . I agreed to look at this laptop for a co-worker's son. I usually only work on my family's systems. The system originally had Windows Media Center installed on it. The youngster decided that he wanted to put Windows XP on the system, so he truely wiped the hard drive clean.

About two days ago I updated my Toshiba Satellite with the Vista Service Pack 1, shortly after my sound and DVD rom drive stopped working. I've done some hunting and found both are common problems, but i can't seem to get the DVD rom drive fixed.

Hello, I have a 5 months old ASUS laptop, Vista. All of a sudden the mouse stopped working. Any USB that I connect gets the same message. The weird thing is that even if noting is connected to the USBs I still get these pop-up message form time to time.

My ipod cannot be recognized as a USB device because the Window Hardware Update Wizard cannot find the correct software to install it. HELP!!! I have tried everything. . . I have the latest version of itunes.
