internet connection ok but nopages

Hi, have computer using xp pro connected through router. its telling me I have a connection ,but no ie or firefox pages appear. messenger tells me I have internet connection but not a. net connection.

I have tried on multiple occasions to install Windows Service Pack 2, and while the installations goes smoothly for the most part, I have had a few problems that I cannot seem to rid myself of. 1. My computer no longer recognizes my wireless network.

networking across 2 Routers and XP Pro and Win2k

Hi I have been trying to network multiple computers together to share folders. I am Across 2 routers tho, One Computer is running Windows 2000, the other is running Win XP Pro. I have been unable to access the Win2000 computer from the XP computer and Vise Versa.

Hello Everyone, I want to disable and enable the wired connection (ethernet adapter) in my laptop though command prompt. I am trying to use PEAP using windows XP 802. 1x client for user authentication and in some cases, the user will like to enter a different username and password.

Hey I'm having trouble with uploading things to any where, my computer lags really bad. Imageshack, photobucket, my ftp server all lag my computer out. And its not like I'm uploading huge files I talking 300kb or less does it.

I got a problem with my W2K server: I'm trying to get a clear error protocol but there is a problem with the net logon service: the net logon tries to strat a few of a second (some times more) earlier then the DNS server does and thats why he reports an error msg.

DSL Light flashing on BT Router

Even as I was writing this, the dsl light on my BT Voyager 205 Router is flashing, causing the connection to drop. Have tried getting help but no luck so far. Have XP on my computer and have done everything to resolve the problem.

Using a Linksys WRT54G V5. 0 router, and connecting to it through a Linksys WMP54G Wireless-G PCI adapter. Recently, the internet connection has slowed to a crawl. I also experience short periods of no internet connectivity every 10 or so minutes and then it instantly re-connects.
