I am using a win xp home computer to print withdrawal slips in my warehouse. This printer is a receipt printer. More than 10 computers in the network may try to print to this shared printer. Basically, this is what this computer does - its a print server.

Hi All, I have a cable internet which has RJ45 connector at end which directly connects to LAN Switch (No router used). I have two PCs which are connected to this LAN switch thru network adapter (one in each PC).

Hi All I am having an internet connection Broadband at home. I have a modem and hub, I do have 4 pc. how do i connect all the pc to the internet. Can you please explain me the settings. As of now i am able to connect one pc at a time.

Cable Connection Problem???

I have been using COX Cable Internet for some months now, after being sick and tired of DSL. At first it was great! But now, for about a month, the connection has been getting slower and slower. And when I try to watch any streaming video (Opsgear has killer mil-sim paintball vids), it stops dead right in the middle.

Backup Exec 10 & Open File Option (OFO)

I have a question regarding the Open File Option (OFO) on Backup Exec 10 for Windows Servers. BE 10 is running on a Windows 2000 SP4 server and backs up about 9 Windows servers and 1 Novell server (all of them have the appropriate Remote Agents installed).

Problem with my home network

Hey all, I have just set up a wireless network at home using Netgear products. I have one Desktop PC and 2 Laptops running off the network. The desktop PC and the first Laptop are running perfectly, but on the second laptop, it is unable to connect.

Exchange 2003 can only send and receive locally.

All, Recently installed exchange 2003 and cant seem to send or receive mail to or from the internet. I had another server (old configuration) running Windows 2003 ent w/exchange 2003 on one nic card and mail works fine so MX records and name resolution is good.

trivenet1 & Port 8200

So I have a PC on the network that is attempting to send out data through port 8200. I have no idea what it is and nstat does not show that the port is open or listening to anything. A quick search on google showed that trivnet1 is associated with this, but no one seems to know what this is.

HKEY_USERS\. Default\software\microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles is populated with many MAPI profiles on a Exchange Server with no MAPI Clients. Problem may have appeared since groupshield was installed, but we can't be sure.

Hi, I am NOT at all a techie! I am trying to use my high speed internet connection on my wireless laptop. I bought a Linksys router, and used the install guide to set it up. My laptop doesn't pick up the high speed connection though.
