i ve been tryii need to open aport for my xbox 360

ive been trying to open a port to allow my xbox a good connection. but everything i try doesnt work. ive been using instructions with portforward. com but even their way doesnt seem to work. problem is they dont tell you what u need to put in.

Removing Networking Login - XP pro

Hi guys, a quicky here. . . so basically, I bought a cheap laptop. I went to start it today and relized that it is set-up through a network. So entering the username and password provided, wont get me anywhere with out being in the proper domain.

Cannot view workgroup! ???

Hey, New to networking but i have just set up a network between a wired XP PC and wireless Vista notebook using a DLINK WBR2310 wireless router. Internet is fine on both and the network is set up, (they are both on the same workgroup) but here is my problem.

Unable to ping site-to-site VPN systems.

I have a site-to-site VPN setup at my office. The site-to-site is IPCOP(192. 168. 1. 0) > SonicWall 330(192. 168. 0. 0). When I VPN to our RRAS from home, I am unable to ping any of the systems on the Sonicwall side(192.

Not seeing a shared printer on a wireless laptop

I have gone through all the procedures to share a HP all in one printer that is hardwired to my desktop. On the desktop I shared the printer, On the laptop I ran add a printer wizard. When the wizard browses for the printer, it lists my desk top computer name but not the shared printer.

Dialup 718 Error

Hello. I'm having a problem with our dialup connection. Previously, we had a Win2k server and this particular WinXP SP2 client machine is working smoothly on its dialup via a telephone line. This was joined to the Win2K domain server before.

main module connection problem

When I connect, I window comes on that says Main Module problem has occurred and I have to close and it kicks me out of connection. But the funny thing is if I don't close the window, I can still work around the window like go into google.

Backbone Switches?

Hi guys, I'd like u to recommend me a Backbone Switch and, please, explain me what's the difference between one of those and a normal Switch (I've been told that a 10/100/1000 switch, even if it has SFP ports, isn't necessarily a Backbone switch).

Mapped Network Drive Brings up Open With Dialog

Hi, I am running Windows XP Pro and Windows 2003 server. One computer (out of about a dozen) on the network has this problem. When you double-click on the network drive to open it, it brings up the open with dialog box.

Windows 2000 Server Domain giving problem XP OS

We have Windows 2000 Server Domain and all our machines were running Windows 2000 and windows xp professional workstation. I joined them to the domain, no problem. For one, I've found that I sometimes am unable to browse the 2K and xp machines from the XP machines.
