Hey, New to networking but i have just set up a network between a wired XP PC and wireless Vista notebook using a DLINK WBR2310 wireless router. Internet is fine on both and the network is set up, (they are both on the same workgroup) but here is my problem.

Not seeing a shared printer on a wireless laptop

I have gone through all the procedures to share a HP all in one printer that is hardwired to my desktop. On the desktop I shared the printer, On the laptop I ran add a printer wizard. When the wizard browses for the printer, it lists my desk top computer name but not the shared printer.

When I connect, I window comes on that says Main Module problem has occurred and I have to close and it kicks me out of connection. But the funny thing is if I don't close the window, I can still work around the window like go into google.

We have Windows 2000 Server Domain and all our machines were running Windows 2000 and windows xp professional workstation. I joined them to the domain, no problem. For one, I've found that I sometimes am unable to browse the 2K and xp machines from the XP machines.
