LAN to WLAN bridge slows network to 1Mbps

MattSpew
The setup: Win2003 networked to XpHE via the WLAN at 54Mbps. Win2003 networked to Xp Pro via LAN at 100Mbps. I want Xp Pro to share files with XpHE, so I bridge the LAN and WLAN with Win2003. Bridging the 2 network cards slows the WLAN down to 1Mbps.

NT security event logger not showing failed attempts

mabuhay
Our PDC is not logging all failed logon attempts any longer. It used to log any attempt by anyone to logon to the network if it failed due to bad user name or bad password. Now it only logs failed attempts if you try to logon to the network at the PDC, but not for clients who try to logon.

Marker0077
I was able to share file resources without having the Files & Printer Sharing service installed, I have yet to test this with printers but I was curious as to why this is even there? Is this for sharing over the internet or what?

Can't map drive after AD upgrade

Shakedown
We just upgraded one of our NT4 domains to W2K. We are currently running in a mixed mode as we have not migrated all domains yet. We are having issues with users VPN'ing into the network. We are using Nortel's VPN solution, but that is not the problem.
