Hi all. . . . . . We have two computers Computer A Computer B Both are on windows XP. Both computers are able to ping each other. Computer A can open files on computers if we \\IP address But the problem is that computer B is not able to open computer A.

I have just added 2 new XP clients to our winnt4 domain server (with both winnt4 and win2000 servers on network). All previous clients are win2000. The 2 new XP clients seem to take 15-20 seconds when accessing mapped drives (to winnt4 and win2000 server drives) for the first time after logon.

This is the picture, small business server 2003, running ISA server 2000, Exchange 2003, SQL, workstation running winxp pro, the workstation tries to start a video conference using msn messenger, but somehow the signal is dropped, Microsoft says ISA server doesn't allow video conference generated within the network ...

I'm fairly familiar with setting up a network with 5 - 10 computers. I am planning on setting up around 20 client computers (Windows XP Pro) with a Windows 2003 Server. I need to build the network in a way that we will be able to easily expand it in the future.

domain controller upgrade from winnt4 to win2000 - best route?

We will be needing to upgrade our domain servers from winnt4 to win2000 in the near future as winnt4's life is coming to an end. Win2000 because we've always had it (did not install it for the longest time) and win2003 cost $ and is not needed.

I just switched from DSL to cablemodem (I am already starting to regret it) because the 1. 5mb cable service was cheaper WITH cable TV than DSL 1. 5mb without. (About $109 with all the premium stations).

hey, i have a small version of sam and max hit the road, and the sound doesn't seem to work. . . is there any patch i can download to fix this, or to save that trouble, can i just download a whole new version of the game that runs on XP? thanks for your help.

why does it takes so long to log into the domain?. . . , this has been bothering me since a few moths ago but i cant take it anymore, and it only happens when the workstation is a Win2k/Winxp computer, if it's a win98 (huak!) it doesnt take any much.

i have configure a DHCP enabled window2003 server. Its working well. The range of the scope is maximum(192. 168. 0. 1-192. 168. 0. 254) and all addresses are utilized by devices. Now the problem is that the user or devices are increased and i have to assign them addresses by DHCP.
