hi guys i am wandering if anybody could help me solve this problem. i just bought a new computer with build in network card ( intel pro/100 VE) i have 2 computers on the network connected through a hub host computer connect to the internet via usb and works perfectly.

Hi: I'm kind of a noob at networking, especially wireless networking. Anyway, I'd like to set up a wireless network between my desktop & laptop to share files & an internet connection. I've installed a USB WiFi adapter in the desktop and a CardBus adapter in the laptop.

I would like some of your guys input. The organization I work for employs about 12 people and is expected to employ 20 by the middle of next year. Currently, we are simply running with a DSL connection and a Wireless AP.

Several of the people in my address book reported that they have received E-mails from me that contain 2 attached files, one zipped (with virus) and other file that is corrupted. I did not send out any of those files my self.

Creating an NT 4.0 Bridge between two network subnets

Hello, I am trying to cause my NT server to act as a bridge between two different subnets, connected to switches, so that they may communicate with each other. Since I am exceedingly new to Windows in general, I am somewhat puzzled.

XP says my scsi is unreadable

Good day, I had a windows 2k system with an IDE for my C drive and a dynamic scsi as my D drive. I reformatted C and installed winxp professional. Now XP says (under disk management) that the SCSI is unreadable.

XP and NT network

Hello i have a problem with my network. Coz i got 2 PC with NT OS and one with XP, the modem that i use is a speed Touch 500 with ASDL, so it got 4 RJ45 ports and all PC got it own port, i can surf with all PC's on the internet, and i can see all files from each PC with NT OS.

can't connect to cox high speed internet

Cox high speed internet just came to our home and it's been connected to my desktop pc(OS:win98) perfectly. I got also laptop pc(OS:winXP), so I pull Ethernet cable out of desktop and stick it in to my laptop Ether connector.

How to test a backup on W2K?

Hi all, Hate to have to post a topic like this, but I'm pulling my hair out with this situation. I have a WinXP Pro machine at home that has a share setup that I share throughout the house. My user account has full access control, while the other user account I setup has read only access.
