Hi Guys, this is the scenario: 4 workstations running Win98 SE, and another workstation acting as a file server running Win2k Professional. When I go to Network Places in any of the Win98 workstations, there are no visible PC's, and if I double click Entire Network it gives the error could not access network.

I setup a network with XP home Sp1 Last week and all works fine. Last night i installed a hub and 2 pcs with Xp home SP2 and they cant see each other. Heres the setup : - 2 desktops, Xp Home SP2. They dont need internet access - 1 x 5 Port hub , - 1 x A3 scanner.

Hey all, I actually have two questions regarding an XP pro machine joining a 2003 domain. Frist things first, I have been using my XP box within a simple home network involving several xp and 98 machines.

Password will expire in 14 days - can I set it to say 3 days?

luck our company agree switch NT4 to 2003. . before swtich to 2003 our got win98,ME and 95 with client PC,win 98,ME,95 can join doamin with win 2003? thank you.

Hi all, I have a windows 2000 domain, the workstations in my network are primarily windows 2000. I have a few windows xp boxes, and when i log off of the domain user account, windows xp tries to Synchronize with my domain server.
