BTMAGIC.IMG error message.

I recently eliminated my dual boot partition and currently run Win XP exclusivly. However when I boot up I get the error message Error in finding BTMAGIC. IMG. . . press any key to continue. Anyone have any ideas as how to rid myself of this problem?.

DirectX 9.0a and Earth and Beyond

Hey, any of you that play Earth and Beyond or. . it could be somehow related to some other high graphics game. Before I installed Direct X 9. 0, when I try to minimize the game, it would at times take a while to get back to desktop.

Restoring desktop shortcuts and left preview pane in XP

Running XP Pro The desktop is on the taskbar. I can't figure out how to get it back where it should be; on the desktop. Also, how do you enable web view within a window? The windows look like '95 now without the preview left pane showing.

Group Policy Editor problem (Windows 2003)

Whenever I use gpedit. msc to view the listings, it only shows one thing, and that is under Local Computer Policy -> Computer Config > Admin Templates > all i see is just one folder: windows components.

Virtual PC 5.2, throttle CPU how?

I was reading form the release notes on VPC 5. x that i can specify the Mhz of the emulated CPU thereby slowing it down. i am using VPC to play magic the gathering on a win98 guest, and its playing too fast, the little dude runs way to fast.

IE 6.0 w/SP1 won't boot on WinXP

IE was working fine, then one day it wouldn't boot. When you left-click on the icon for IE, the hourglass pops-up for a couple of seconds then dies. No link inside of an e-mail will take me the Internet either.

Hey guys, it's me again. I'm also looking for a good Graphics API mainly for graphs and stuff. Basically 2d should be fine, with speed and prints out to the screen rather than to a jpg, gif, etc. Disregarding OpenGL, DirectX, GPI, and wxWindows.

I want to delete the GhostStartService in the admin screen. I am using winxp. I delete the whole folder of Norton Ghost by mistake and cannot reinstall the application. Tried to ghost my hd to an image but the ghost boot floppy gave me an error.

I need to export a report from Access2002 from a visual basic sub routine. I am using DoCmd. OutputTo acOutputReport, Table, acFormatXLS, File The problem is that it appears to save it in a pre Excel97 format.

Adding users from a .xls file or from a .txt in Win2K3...

Good morning all. I'm having issues adding users from my excel spreadsheet to my AD Users and Computers. I know the tool in the past used to be addusers. exe or addusers. vbs which was on the Resource Kit for both NT4 and 2K but that no longer exists in Win2K3.

My installation routine for files under win2kpro 3 has always been a litle picky. but lately 2/3 games have caused me large problems when trying to install. If i put in the game disk. . the auto installer just keeps running one setup.

[win2k] auto hibernate 5 minutes after "wake-up"

Hi all, I'll try to explain my problem as clearly as possible. When i recover windows 2000 from hibernate (i'm using the word recover but i mean i'm just booting up the pc that i put in hibernate before) and i don't use the computer within 5 minutes after the wake-up from hibernate it returns in hibernate autmatically.

hi, i have a problem with msn messenger. it crashes when i want to use voice, video, app sharing, remote assistance,. . . on everything it crashes except on text and sending/receiving files. i tried then to run windows messenger but an error occured and it didn't open.
