one how do i find the cause of these outgoing blocked packets, i cleaned my cookies and i am still getting these blocks: Packet to SPRINT-WIRELESS TR, Law Offices Benjamin AP2P ( 70. 48. 244. 4 ) blocked.

Hi everybody, i'm running Norton Systemworks 2002 under Windows XP SP1 at the moment and i like to know if it still works after installing SP2. Unfortunately i cannot find the updates from Symantec anymore which maybe helpful.

Updating Outlook Calendars with iCalendar messages

I work in an office with a hybrid Exchange/External POP3 setup and one staff member is responsible for maintaining the office's group calendar. Staff members frequently email her iCalendar entries that will automatically save to the group calendar when she opens them.

Mystery system tray icon

Ok folks, it's time to play Name that program. Every time I move my cursor over an mpg file in Explorer I get this icon popping up in the system tray. The really annoying part is that it's only there for a for a fraction of a second.

checkdisk runs every time I boot

Just began to happen, I checked session manager key in the registry and it's autocheck autochk *. So no problem there. Can anyone help? I sure hope it's not winxp shutting down poorly. it seems to shut down fine.

about:blank spyware. Nothing seems to work

Hi guys, Im running Windows XP with latest updates. My IE6's default home page has been changed to about:blank and directs me to 'Home Search'. Nothing I have tried so far has worked to get rid of this problem, it simply keeps revering back.

SP2 Windows Firewall programs exceptions list issues...

Happy Labaour Day Weekend y'all!!! Just wanted to point out an odd occurrence in the Windows Firewall that now comes w/SP2. I've noticed that if you have added all the programs that you want to have an exception to the Firewall list, that it disappears when you join the system to a domain.

IE6 SP1 hanging whilst loading most pages

Afternoon all, Last night when I dialled up to check email, and browse here, Fark, job sites etc I ran into some trouble. Any web page which I open, will hang about half way through loading and then IE will require a task manager kill.

BSOD's like crazy

I've gone about a year w/o a single crash or BSOD but recently I reformatted and I'm getting them every once in a while. . . on average, one or 2 a day. Anyways, I'm going to attribute this to my version of xp.

Hey guys I am hijacked since 2 days ago i get this msg from my antivirus: A friend said that its a hijack program for hackers. . . . I can delete the file with my antivirus but it keeps coming back i used adaware to search & it found it allright.

Strange IE 6 Problem

I have a problem with my internet browsers, it seems that no matter what browser I'm using beit Mozilla firefox, MS IE 6. 0, Opera, Netscape 7. x within the WinXp Pro environment the browsers seemed to be unrecognizable or just says mozilla.

Apple Routing on Windows 2003 Ent. Svr...

Morning all. I know this may not be a good area to post this but I'm somewhat desperate and want to know how I can accomplish what I need to do. So here goes, I had a Windows 2000 Adv. Svr. doing AppleTalk Routing using four seperate NICs for four different subnets.
