Hey all, Just installed and activated a new copy of NAV 2005. I am planning to have to reinstall it in the next few months (gonna buy swanky new kit soon ). Does any one know of a way to save having to activate it again, similar to the 'wpa.

App to recover files from a lost partition

Again, lol, yes I know. . . Heres another. I need a program (acronis recoverexpert not working) to scan a drive for files/partitions to recover files. I really want a program I tried months ago and it worked to recover files from a 100GB drive that were lost when the partition got damagaed.

Win Backup File restoration woes

I'm having trouble restoring a Windows Backup File (. bkf). The file origianlly resided on a ZIP disk. I've copied it to my hard disk (XP Pro) but cannot restore the file. The restore process starts fine, but as it get to around the 80% mark, I'm prompted to insert media #2 (see for pic).

Hello All, I have an interesting problem for the gurus out there. I have a machine set up with all the software I could possibly ever need. The installed size is roughly 12. 4GB. I wish to transfer all of this onto a different machine in one easy go.

Hey all Heres the scenario; I did a format/reinstall of Windows XP Pro on my c: drive. However, I didn't do a files/settings backup. I have an encrypted directory/files on my second hdd, that I can't seem to recover the files from.

Kai's Power Goo goes all asswhack on my new WinXP computer on mouseover. Blocks of pixels shift and refuse to function until a final, unrelenting crash of the program. My ability to waste time, thereby forcing me to actually do the laundry, is in dire jeopardy! Please help.

Hi guys, On my father's computer he somehow had directed hyperlinks in emails using Outlook XP to be opened with Spybot. Originally it was asking what program to use to open the hyperlink and he selected something he trusted.

i just got a new computer and i cant get dsl on them both for some reason. is there a way to transfer an xp version to download onto it from a windows 2000? i really want to play theif2, but for some reason the directX download that came with it isnt working.

I need help with Zone Alarm. I installed it, but i dont think that it completely installed. WHen I try to run it, it just freezes or never opens. When I try to install it again, it says true vector engine isnt reachable.

Does anyone out there know of a program that is similar to CCleaner? My Bitdefender keeps saying it has a trojan in the program and refuses to run it. I have scanned the program at many places and only Bitdefender says there is a problem.

Philips cdrw800 drive not recognised properly

I am having a big problem here. I just switched to my new system that runs on windows xp pro, but it will not see my philips cdrw800. It does show a cd drive, a generic dvd-rom scsi cdrom device which it clearly is not.
