McAfee Firewall/ Norton Internet Security 2006 - Conflict

Been messin around on my mates pc this afternoon, trying to install norton internet security 2006 (paid for copy). Seems to install fine, but it won't allow us to configure it, saying that mcafee personal firewall is still installed.

How to add Polish keyboard layout to w2000pro?

Hey guys, been a while since I last visited. I'm just wondering, how can I add polish keyboard layout to my gf's windows 2000 machine? It's an english installation of w2k and it doesn't have the polish key configuration in the keyboard settings menu in the control panel, even though she is using a polish keyboard.

Need Advice

I used Drive Image 5. 0 for a number of years. Then I rebuilt my daughter's computer and added a 260 gig harddrive. I did several images successfully then discoved that I was having trouble seeing already created images on the new computer and I can no longer create new images.

Mediafile problems - big time

Wonder what happened to all my media files and players: Running Win2k Pro+SP4+ all updates Until now, everything has been running fine, then a series of problems occured on a string. - At first, movies in Silent Hunter 3 seized to play; Ubisoft intro screen, option menu background movie etc.

Borland Paradox 7.0

Having recently upgraded my main system to enable the playing of current high spec games, I am using Paradox 7. 0 on the machine which runs Windows XP Home. The database works fine BUT if I try and change the size of a form I get a General Protection Error and Paradox closes down.

Hi Gang, I love how MS Word 2003 (Service Pack 2) autocompletes : ) >. However, the only problem is it's sticking a bar along the left hand side of the paragraph whenever and wherever I place smilies.

I have Windows XP Professional and I found a way to permanently remove these files for good. Just to let you know, you may have other software installed that may use these files and therefore can not be permanently removed.

I'm currently using an oem version of Easy CD Creator 5 that came with my cd burner. It does an ok job as far as I'm concerned but it seems like I need to remove and reinstall it almost monthly. Some sort of 30 day self destruct mechanism built in I guess It's not a 30 day demo.

I have Windows XP Pro SP1 and have installed PowerToys Tweak UI for XP SP1 and after restarting the system i got desktop icons in 16bit mode showing in 256 colours (before that they were showing in 16bit mode graphics).

Hey all. I've just installed XP on my laptop for testing, and I've ran into a snafu. Laptop is a Thinkpad T21, and the OS is installed on a 20 GB internal IDE drive. I have all my data on a 60 GB, NTFS drive that is attached via the Ultrabay.

My HD crashed. I plugged it into another computer and it showed up as an uninitialized drive. So I got a copy of R-studio Demo which was able to identify that the drive was once 2 partitions and it showed all my data.
