Hi, does anyone know if there's anyway I can get the installation file and all that stuff for my Logitech QuickCam Messenger since my sister scratched up the disk awhile back and then I had to throw it away since Windows couldn't read it at all.

Photomax Image Maker 3.3 not compatible with NT

I have an older Polaroid pdc1300 digital camera. It came with PhotoMax Image Maker 3. 3. I had this installed when I was using Win ME, but I have tried installing on both XP home and Vista and just get the message that Photomax is not compatible with Windows NT.

How does backup in MS Word work?

Anyone know the details of how MS Word makes backups of Word files, under WinXP? Something's gone wrong with my MS Word. It's MS Office 2000 and, over the years, I've had precious few problems with the MS Word component.

CD Drive disappeared

My CD/DVD drive has disappeared - not shown in Explorer or Device Manager. After Googling, I tried the Lower/Upper Filters Registry trick even though that only seems to work if the CD Drive is still showing in Device Manager with a Yellow exlamation mark.

MS Photo Editor won't work with Canon files on Vis

Hope someone out there can help me. I have a Canon EOS 400D and a small Sony. On my old computer which ran on XP my wife could use MS Photo Editor on files from both cameras. At Xmas we bought a new laptop and it came with Vista standard.

IE7 Freezes

When I click on a link within most web pages, IE7 will freeze and I am unable to do anything with IE after that. I also found that right clicking in directories with Explorer can also cause a freeze.

I work in the IT department at my company and am currently running into a problem that we cannot seem to get under control for one of our users. Here is the deal: When the user is working which involves going and checking some of our internal webpages, sometimes IE6 will give a white screen and not load.

I was wandering if anyone knew a way around buying the retail version of windows vista 64 bit edition if i have already purchased the 32 bit oem edition? I've tried upgrading it to the 64 bit but, the microsoft support line says it has to be retail.

Hi I'm new to this forum but I thought this would be the best place to post this question. I have Windows XP Home SP2 and there is a service named Application Management listed in the services menu, but according to Microsoft this service isn't supported in Windows XP Home Edition only XP Pro.
