I'm running a Norton 2007 on my system but it is terribly slow. It takes ages to get to the desktop. Are there any good antiviruses out there? I've heard of BitDefender,Kaspersky and Avg?How are they? I'm preferabley looking for an antivirus that doesnt affect system performance and also keeps its notification popu ...

Hi there i just installed Win7 to dual boot alongside vista, problem is the MBR doesnt have an option to boot vista even though i have checked and the Vista partition is still there any ideas how to edit the MBR and add a line to be able to boot Vista again Thanks in advance P.

WD recognised by XP but not shown in explorer

Hope somebody can help me. It's an old topic. Have a 3 year old WD Passport and it worked fine so far. It's formatted to NTFS. I gave it to a friend to copy some of my stuff from the drive. She has Vista on her laptop, I have XP.

Ntloader missing message when trying to install xp

Hey, I hope someone can help me. I am trying to install win. xp pro and I keep getting a message Ntloader missing immidiatly after the boot up sequence ends. The Hard disk have been formatted and they are in NTFS format.

The Session Manager Initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000003a (0x00000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down. even the system is stucked not changing the blue screen and even i tried to install the new xp even though it is not done.

hey guys n girls recently boughta new pc and decided to transfer my stuff securly by putting it in a win rar folder with a password and ive gone and forgotten the password. anyone know how to resolve my forgetful problem and access the folder by removing the password.

Hallo, I often use the saved passwords of my Firefox browser to see and sometimes erase the passwords. . . only everytime I must go to Tools - Options - Safety - saved password. I was arguing if there is a way to insert a link in the toolbar to simplify and speed up this task.

Every time I tried to Install WinXp to my PC this Error will come out with this code 0x0000009c (0x00000000, 0x8054da70, 0xb2000000, 0x1040080f) it will come out at 8 minutes before the installation finish.

Hallo, since some weeks my Mozilla Thunderbird 2. 0. 0. 21 has become very slow visualizing some html mail (like paypal payment's one). Before it wasn't so slow but now it takes even one minute when I select one of them but only the first time: if i select it again is much faster.

i have installed the sony digital voice editor 3 which i have used before with Olympus voice recorder and worked just fine. im trying to use it now on another computer, but the voice files on the recorder are wma files, which refuse to be opened with the editor.

I'm running windowsXP (SP2)Home edition on an e-Machine. I'm not able to get PowerPoint Viewer 2007 to run on my box. It installs fine but when I go to open it I get the message that the version will only run on: Windows 2000, Server 2003, WindowsXP and Vista.
