VIA Hardware has posted two VIA Windows XP drivers:

VIA IDE 3.14 driver (10/02/01)
This is the first VIA IDE driver for XP and is currently not included in the latest 4-1 drivers. Here is a list of the fixes:

1. First version for XP
2. Support to uninstall driver from ControlPanel->Add/Remove Program
3. Support Large Disk Feature(over 128 GiB)
4. Support ATA133, VIA VT8233A SouthBridge

Audio driver 68mu210b (10/26/01)
These drivers have been certified for Windows XP and NT by Microsoft. Here is a list of the fixes:

1. Enables the user to control the behavior of the Mixer control lines
2. Solves a problem with IBM e-phones
3. Fixes a problem reported of chopping sound when playing AVI files
4. increases stability
5. provides for multiple wave playing function

Snow White & the Seven Dwarves DVD issue

Thanks Mark. While attempting to play the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Platinum Collection DVD movie, a user may experience garbled or indistinct audio and video and an error from the DVD player program. This behavior occurs because the Universal Disk Format (UDF) driver (Udfs.sys) in Windows XP and Windows 2000 is unable to read certain data stored on the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Platinum Collection DVD. This problem does not affect any other DVD disks known to Microsoft at this time.
