On this page you can optimize your Internet connection. SpeedUpMyPC can automatically tweak many settings as soon you select your type of Internet connection. At least, those tweaks seems to work well with cable modems. I noticed a speed increase of ~5% on my cable connection after running optimize.

Startup



Here can you add or remove applications from the startup. “Optimize Startup Settings” will remove all rarely used programs automatically. This will also remove not needed programs like spywares, registration reminders etc.

Anti-Crash



The Anti-Crash feature allows you to recover your system after a program crashed. This is a useful feature especially if you run Windows 9x.

SpeedUpMyPC is overall an easy and useful tweaking utility for users which feel uncomfortable with Registry editing.
