Oftentimes, it is the network cable input that gets removed. Because it is still quite useful in some situations, we have tested 13 USB 3.0 gigabit adaptors.

Wireless connections are very handy, especially when on the go with a laptop. Sometimes, you just need to have a faster and more reliable connection which can only be provided via a wire. If you have your own work spot or work somewhere for longer periods of time, it is still preferable to connect via a CAT wire. This is becoming impossible as the laptops become thinner and the rather large Ethernet port is one of the first to go. AMDs statement on Radeon RX 560: We apologize for the confusion

In a brief statement provided to Gamers Nexus, AMD apologizes for the confusion surrounding Radeon RX 560 specifications. AMD: "We apologize for the confusion" AMD recently updated Radeon RX 560 specifications to include new SKU with 896 Stream Processors, while only advertising 1024 SP variant at launch. What's even more confusing is the fact that AMD already has 896-SP variant of the RX 560, called RX 560D, so there was absolutely no reason not to use this codename instead.

Earlier this October 27, 2017, Cougar announced two new flagship FPS gaming mice to their extensive mouse peripheral lineup. Today we get to review one of those new offerings, the Minos X5 gaming mouse which sits at the top of Cougar's lineup for ergonomic mice. Keeping the unique shape of the Minos lineup, the Minos X5 has been upgraded with the PMW3360 gaming sensor to give it a new level of precision.

Along with the upgraded gaming sensor precision, the Cougar Minos X5 offers a 2000Hz polling rate. As seen in the specs below, this higher polling rate (twice as fast as many competitors and not overclocked to boot) promises a smoother tracking experience. This can lead to players pin-pointing those moving gaming targets for a more precise engagement, making the gameplay more enjoyable.

As mentioned earlier, the Minos X5 continues the previous ergonomic design of the series. MSIs GP62 7REX Leopard Pro gaming laptop reviewed

Intel's power-sipping Core i5-8250U was the headliner of one of our recent reviews, but many readers left that review wanting to talk about Nvidia's MX150, the graphics card paired up with the Core i5-8250U in one of our test notebooks. The MX150 proved to be an impressive entry-level graphics card, considering that it fits in nicely into ultrabooks and has a remarkably small impact on battery life. The notebook we tested was able to produce playable frame rates in The Witcher 3 at 1600x900, and that's no small feat for an ultrabook.

As impressed as we were, though, we imagine that a lot of folks out there would prefer a notebook with a bit more gaming prowess. While there are more powerful graphics cards in Nvidia's mobile lineup, the GTX 1050 Ti might be the natural step up from the MX150. Announced earlier this year, this pint-size Pascal powerhouse is more suited for gamers hoping to keep their display resolution at 1920x1080, even when playing contemporary triple-A games—though not typically with in-game graphics settings maxed out.

To help us assess the performance of the mobile GTX 1050 Ti specifically, and more generally to help our readers learn what to expect from this year's midrange gaming notebooks, we sent out some feelers to the laptop folks at MSI. The company is no stranger to the GTX 1050 Ti, as it has no less than ten different laptops equipped with the graphics card. The model that MSI sent over is the GP62 7REX Leopard Pro, an attractive notebook that's fairly representative of what folks can expect to purchase between $1000 and $1500 these days. Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Boosts CPU And GPU Performance, Delivers 4K HDR Capture, 3X Faster AI Processing

Today, Qualcomm is spilling the beans on some of the components that makeup the Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform, which now includes a more powerful Kyro 385 CPU. This revamped CPU features four high-performance cores operating at 2.8GHz (a 25 percent uplift over the Snapdragon 835) and four "efficiency" cores operating at a more sedate 1.7GHz. Onboard you’ll find 2MB of shared L3 cache along with 3MB of system cache. While the Snapdragon 845 is still being built on a 10nm manufacturing process, Samsung and Qualcomm have moved to Low Power Plus (LPP) FinFET technology to further improve efficiency. The Snapdragon 845 will be used in countless flagship Android smartphones arriving in 2018, and will also likely end up in future "Always Connected" Windows 10 mobile PCs...

WD Gold 10TB Datacenter Enterprise-Class Hard Drive Review

When I first started writing for TweakTown, hard drives just broke the 4TB barrier and SSDs were just getting started. Now the hard drive market has completely changed into an all-out battle for who has the highest capacity drives. Seagate is now shipping 12TB IronWolf and Barracuda solutions that we will be looking at in an upcoming article, and up to this point we do have 10TB Red, Red Pro and 10TB WD Gold samples in-house with rumblings of 12TB solutions very soon. The WD Gold was announced and launched mid-2016 with 4TB, 6TB, and 8TB capacity options. It takes over where the RE drive left off, and since then, WD has expanded the lineup to include 10TB and 12TB solutions. All WD Gold drives feature a 7200 RPM spindle speed, the latest generation of electronics part of which includes enhanced RAFF-technology that monitors the drive to correct linear and rotational vibration in real-time along with Dynamic Fly Height technology to monitor and adjust each read/write head to ensure consistent performance and of course, RAID-Specific TLER.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Review

The graphics are good with some effects really standing out as impressive to me while performance is second-to-none for games in their launch or near-launch state. The story is weak with a number of missed opportunities, in-game spoiled twists, and a failure to connect me to the game world and motivating me to move forward. The gameplay is fun but has missed opportunities and fails to motivate me to keep playing to achieve game-changing weapons and upgrades.
