14 gigabit powerline adapters: review
The last time we discussed these products, powerline adapters with claimed gigabit speeds were not very common, however these days they are the norm. Time for an update! We tested 14 adapters - the extensive comparison table can be found here - from various manufacturers that allow you to realize a network connection using your existing power grid.Read full article @ Hardware.Info
These days powerline is no longer a new technology, however there are still quite a lot of new developments. Modern models claim maximum theoretical throughput speeds of 1200 Mbit/s, provided a ground wire and mimo can be used. Especially in combination with a 802.11ac wireless access point, they are potentially effective solutions for coverage issues at home, for example in new houses isolated with concrete and isolation material.
Acer Predator X34P Monitor Review
For the past two years the Acer Predator X34 has remained one of the best gaming monitors on the market. I've been so satisfied with it since launch that that I've kept it as my personal monitor for both gaming and video production. I love the combination of a 34-inch 21:9 3440 x 1440 display with a 100 Hz maximum refresh rate, G-Sync, and even great color accuracy for a gaming monitor.Read full article @ TechSpot
But this new monitor from Acer, an upgraded version of the X34, is even better in almost every way. It’s called the Predator X34P, and it could be the perfect monitor to tide us over before the HDR-capable X35 finally hits the market.
As an interesting note, the Predator X34P has received its fair share of launch troubles. This monitor was actually unveiled all the way back at Computex 2016, so it’s taken a long time for the new panel in this display to become ready for mass production.
AVM FRITZ!Box 7590 Wireless Router Review
If you just want basic WiFi and a few wired ports connected to your broadband, the router that came with your Internet service might be enough. But a top-end WiFi router can give you a whole lot more in feature terms, and the AVM FRITZ!Box 7590 is a case in point. Not only does it include a potent firewall and VPN capabilities, but it also integrates a host of IP telephony and NAS features in an attempt to be the central hub of all your communications.Read full article @ KitGuru
beQuiet! Straight Power 11 Power Supply 750 Watt Review
Let's review the new beQuiet! Straight Power 11 750 Watt power supply. The series has been improved internally and comes with a few new hardware tweaks. Crucial MX500 1TB SATA SSD Review
New year and new Crucial SSD. This time it’s MX500 in 1TB version. Somehow Crucial skipped 400 series but it doesn’t matter how SSD is called but how it works. Looking at the general specification we can say that not much has changes since last generation but there are couple of significant changes and about that we will tell you in this review.Read full article @ FunkyKit
In Win 101C Review
In Win has quickly become the master of high-end design cases starting a couple of years ago. Despite the exclusive design, the biggest issue of these cases has always been the price. With the 101C, In Win appears to be offering a mid-tower case compatible with ATX motherboards with a price close to 90 euro. Compared to the 303, the cable management of this 101C has been improved.Read full article @ ocaholic

SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX VEGA 56 Limited Edition 8G HBM2 Review
To make sure that this card performs well under a load, Sapphire slapped a massive Vapor Chamber-based cooling solution on the card. The combination of Sapphire's Tri-X dual ball bearing fans and Vapor Chamber cooling solution make this card one of the coolest running cards I have tested, both stock and overclocked. What makes this cooling performance that much more impressive is that the power consumed by the card is in excess of 300 watts stock and overclocked. Impressive indeed. Planning for the future, Sapphire has made its fans replaceable without removing the shroud. Simply remove two screws, lift out the dual ball bearing fans, and reverse the procedure to put it back. Simple as can be. To help tie the video cards cooling performance to the case cooling, Sapphire has added the Turbine X feature to this card. You can connect up to two case fans to the card that intelligently manages the fan speeds based on the input from five thermal sensors on the PCB. A pretty cool feature, but not really necessary as many cases and most motherboards have PWM controlled headers to manage cooling performance.Read full article @ OCC
