20 smart new and improved features in Windows 10
With Windows 10, Microsoft is trying to keep some of the touch and tablet features it created for Windows 8, combine them with the familiar Start menu and desktop, and run it all on top of an improved operating system with more security, a new browser, the Cortana assistant, its own version of Office for on-the-go editing and plenty of new features intended to make life simpler.Of course, that also means it's very different to use, whether you come from Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows XP. You have to look in a new place even to turn your PC off.On top of that, Windows 10 is more than just a PC operating system; it's also what will run on Windows phones – and on small tablets as well, because a 6-inch phone and a 7-inch tablet aren't such very different devices. Microsoft is expecting people to put Windows 10 on a billion devices (which ought to encourage more app developers to at least take a look at building their apps for Windows phones and tablets, as well as for Xbox One and HoloLens). Here are some of the key new and reworked features you'll see in Windows 10.Read full article @ Techradar

Asus ROG G551J Gaming Laptop Review
The Asus Republic Of Gamers G551J laptop delivers the styling cues we have come to expect so you get a black and red colour scheme with red accents on the WASD keys and red back lights for the keyboard. If you take a squint inside the cooling exhaust vent you’ll find it is red inside there too.Read full article @ Kitguru
ASUS X99 Sabertooth Motherboard Review
ASUS' The Ultimate Force (TUF) motherboards may be hard to place for some potential buyers. The boards don’t quite cater to overclocking enthusiasts like the RoG series does, they aren’t priced at stratospheric levels like the Deluxe products and they provide a enhanced feature set when compared against entry level products. Instead of looking to appease certain niches, the TUF series sets out to offer a blend of longevity through military-class components, forward-looking additions and a bleeding-edge attention to detail that surpasses anything the competition can offer.Read full article @ Hardware Canucks
This attention to detail is what made the previous X79 Sabertooth such a cult classic, and why on the LGA-1155 side of the fence the Sabertooth Z97's made such a splash. However, X99 is the enthusiast chipset of choice and as such a TUF branded motherboard has to not only meet the previously high watermark that those TUF boards left, but has to exceed them. This is what the TUF Sabertooth X99 sets out to do: destroy any preconceived notions about what a $350 socket 2011-v3 motherboard could offer. In order to do this ASUS did not stray from their previous philosophy and concepts but instead doubled down on them in a big way.
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Superclocked Review
Not long ago we did a first review of the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ which we of course loved because who cannot love a card with that much power? Today we are following up with another EVGA card, the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Superclocked. It is almost the same card as the previous one as it has the same clock speeds. The big difference is that this card uses the reference design while the Superclocked + ACX 2.0 uses a dual-fan-configuration. In this review we will focus on the performance difference against a high-end GTX 980-card (the pre-overclocked Zotac AMP! Omega-edition card) and specifically how it handles 2560×1440 and 4K-resolutions.Read full article @ Bjorn3D

Microsoft Surface 3 Review
The full metal body of the Surface 3 makes it one of the best designed, most attractive Windows tablets on the market. Throw in great features like the three-position kickstand, the hidden microSD card slot, the full-sized USB port, the 3:2 display, and Microsoft has nailed the design of this tablet.Read full article @ Techspot

Here's a short review of X-Plane 10, an extremely realistic flight simulator, covering initial setup of the demo version and brief flying experience. In other words, a life sucking, demotivating, time eating, money drinking, willpower stealing, nerve wrecking, manhood testing, morale defeating, and above all tough and serious computer game.Read full article @ Dedoimedo
