Microsoft has released three new updates for Windows

Assume that you have a computer that is running Windows 8. Additionally, assume that you start a desktop app from the Autoplay dialog box of an external media for the first time, and then you close the desktop app immediately. In this situation, the Program Compatibility Assistant dialog box appears and you receive the following error message unexpectedly:

After you apply this update, you will not receive the error message in the Program Compatibility Assistant dialog box in the situation that is described in the "Symptoms" section.
