Sledgehammer's engine received optimizations in both graphics quality and performance, and there are plenty of settings to play with. Cooler Master Cosmos C700P review: Big and versatile

Earlier this year Cooler Master carefully blew new life into their Cosmos series with the release of the special 25th Anniversary Edition of the Cosmos II. The result was an elegant case, that unfortunately was somewhat dated due to its old roots. However, some time ago Cooler Master released the completely new Cosmos C700P: a high-end case that, although it is clearly related to its illustrious predecessors, it is entirely up-to-date.

The new C700P is immediately recognizable as a Cosmos case on the outside. The long tube-shaped feet at the bottom, and handles on the top might have been replaced by flat aluminium feet and grips, but the family characteristics are unmistakable.

The C700P is a big case that offers a lot of room for hard disks, SSDs, fans and water cooling. Aside from that the case offers a lot of flexibility in regard to the motherboard orientation. In order to be completely up-to-date an RGB-controller and RGB led lighting had to be included as well. With that, the new Cosmos C700P is entirely targeted towards the demanding users that are also prepared to spend a lot of money on a high-end case - like its predecessors. If you want to have this case you should be prepared to do so, because the Cosmos C700P has an MSRP of 266 pounds / 299 euros.

Philips Moda Slim 245C7QJSB Designer Monitor Review

Since displays have moved on from the great, big, hulking boxes of plastic and glass they used to be in the CRT days, there is one trend that has been fairly constant: an increased drive to become ever thinner. Plasma was thinner than CRT by a very dramatic margin. CCFL-backlit LCDs made plasma displays look obese before they were, in their turn, superseded by slimmer LED-backlit LCDs. Then OLED came along and showed how thin a display could really be. But with its aptly-named Moda Slim 245C7QJSB, Philips aims to demonstrate that LCD can still impress in the supermodel stakes.
