Guardband Clipping. Guardband Clipping is a performance optimization technique that can Improve performance by reducing the amount of (Frustrum) clipping calculations a CPU must perform by allowing polygons/triangles which aren't entirely visible in the current viewpoint to be accepted. While this may sound like it has the opposite effect (Lower performance), it doesn't as Clipping calculations can be very CPU intensive, particularly when the polygons/triangles in question are only partially visible (Which is where the Frustrum clipping comes into use). Set this to Enable to enable Guardband Clipping for optimal performance. You should only set this to Disable if you are intending to use Hidden Surface Removal in supported games (See below) as it interferes with that feature.Read more
