Microsoft has released 9 new Office 2016 updates for Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.



Update for Access 2016 (KB4475539)

This update fixes the following issues:
Access crashes when a form has code behind the Resize event that references for the Form.Recordset property.
Changes to a macro may not be saved if you don't change focus after making a change.

Update for Word 2016 (KB4484135)

This update fixes the following issues:
A user sends a Publisher page that contains hyperlinks by selecting File > Share > Email > Send Current Page. When recipients open the email, the formatting in the page is lost, for example objects with hyperlinks get distorted.
When you print a document, the table’s fill color is printed out of the table at the second page while it looks well in the print preview.

Update for PowerPoint 2016 (KB4484134)

PowerPoint is also allowed to automatically extend the display when presenting on a desktop computer. You can use an AllowAutoExtendForDesktop registry key to enable or disable this functionality.

Update for Outlook 2016 (KB4484139)

This update adds a PreferProvidedEmailInAutoDiscoverAuthPrompts registry key that enables Exchange administrators to specify whether users will be authenticated by using the configured account email or the user principal name (UPN) during AutoDiscover scenarios.

Value data:
0: It's the default value. Outlook will use the UPN when it's available.
1: If the value is set to 1, Outlook will ignore the UPN and just use the provided account email.
It also fixes the following issues:
Outlook doesn't show original URL on hover on an email message with more than 50 URLs.​
Fixes a memory leak when you use Outlook 2016.
When you save an email message to the Drafts folder after you change the sender in online mode, the sender name is changed to the LegacyExchangeDN value.
When you copy an attached email message from the preview pane, and then paste it in an inline reply, Outlook 2016 crashes.

This update fixes the following issue:
When you view SharePoint sites in legacy mode by using Internet Explorer with Active-X controls enabled, Outlook can occasionally be put into a "Need Password" state.

When you open any Office application, such as Outlook, and select File > Office Account > About Outlook, the version of the mso.dll file isn't displayed correctly in the About Microsoft Outlook dialog box. This update corrects the version information that's shown for Office applications.

Note To fix this issue completely, you also have to install update 4484137 together with this update.
