Since AMD made the transition from Slot to Socket, I´ve had quite a while to play with some different motherboards. The first I had access to came from AMD (accompanying their Duron) in the form of the Gigabyte GA7-ZM. That was a MicroATX motherboard that didn´t impress me much. I´ve sinced used ASUS, Gigabyte, Soyo, Aopen, Shuttle, Tyan, Microstar, and ABIT boards. Now that I´ve messed with all these different boards, I have a good idea of what makes a good Socket A board, and I´m here to tell you there is one board on the market right now for Socket A that is nearly perfect.
