The Memory bus of MX too has been designed according to low costs, enabling it to support 64/128bit DDR/SDRAM. The majority of the cards using MX are models working at 32Mb/166MHz, with 128Bit SDRAM. Of course, these RAMs have a maximum bandwidth of 2.7 Gig/sec and this is not very convenient for some special occasions. But a product that is not within this RAM configuration, i.e. 166 MHz DDR RAM (theoretically possible) would possibly miss the "low-cost" target and be not preferable.Read more
