I am Not a Geek dot com has posted a review on the ABIT VP6 mainboard.

About a year and a half ago Abit released the BP6. The BP6 got a lot of attention, and for good reasons. It was the first and only board I know of that allowed you to run dual Celerons without using slocket or doing any mods to the CPU. It also had a second onboard IDE controller that allowed you to have up 8 IDE drives on the board. This was the first board I knew of to do this. The BP6 was actually the first Abit board I owned, and I was very happy with it.

Abit has now released the follow up to that board, the VP6. I do not think the VP6 carries the same excitement as the BP6 did. The main reason for this is that there is really nothing new here. A dual Pentium III board is by no means anything new, and there are now many boards with the a third party IDE controller on them. Another reason for lack of excitement is that unlike the BP6 you can´t use Celerons with it and save a pile of money. PIII´s are expensive, especially to buy two.
