ActivXperts Software, a leading provider of monitoring software for Windows-, Linux- and UNIX systems, today announces the release of ActivXperts Network Monitor 5.0.
This new release helps system engineers to avoid and detect serious errors on their Windows, UNIX and Linux systems. ActivXperts Network Monitor is powered by a strong, multithreaded engine that monitors the servers over the network. The software contains a broad range of built-in checks. User-defined checks can be integerated into the software. ActivXperts has chosen VBScript as the language for user-defined checks. In this way, checks based on WMI (Windows Management Interface) can be written easily. The User Interface part of the software can be installed on any Windows NT workstation or higher; no additional software is needed on the monitored servers.
