Cooler Master MasterLiquid Pro 280 AIO Cooler Review

There are many ways to increase the performance of your PC. Most enthusiasts will immediately gravitate to overclocking for the “instant gratification” performance boost but what about thermal performance? Thermals play a huge role in how your system performs and when they are under control your system can run its best.

In this review I’ll be looking at the MasterLiquid Pro 280 from Cooler Master. This is a dual 140mm AIO watercooling unit that was designed to help re-launch Cooler Master as a leader in the cooling space and redefine some of the common design ideas with AIO watercooling. The MasterLiquid Pro 280 is also a revision over the MasterLiquid Pro 240 that I reviewed earlier this year. The technology is the same however there are a few subtle differences and I we will get a chance to check them out.

Cooler Master MasterLiquid Pro 280 Review: The Strong, Silent Type

The Cooler Master MasterLiquid Pro 280 is the larger radiator version of the previously reviewed MasterLiquid Pro 240 which was released a month prior. Utilizing two large 140mm fans instead of a pair of 120's for active radiator cooling, the MasterLiquid Pro 280 should be able to cool better than its smaller sibling, while producing less noise.

ECS LEE7 Z170-Lightsaber Review: A Cut Above

The ECS Z170-Lightsaber is a significantly upgraded version of the Z170-Claymore, bringing more competitive features on-board, literally. EVGA SC17 1070 Gaming Laptop Review

The enthusiast laptop makes the transition from GTX 980M to GTX 1070. We'd started to lose count of how many gaming laptops we reviewed in the first half of 2016 only to conclude that a next-gen GPU was needed in order to entice PC gamers into making an investment. Fast forward to today and Nvidia's GTX 10-series range has surfaced and manufacturers are all hurrying to introduce refreshed models.

Quick off the mark is EVGA, who is giving its first-ever gaming laptop, the SC17, a makeover by swapping the GeForce GTX 980M found in the launch model for an up-to-date GeForce GTX 1070.

iDeaUSA s408 Gaming Headphones Review

The iDeaUSA Gaming Headphone could be considered either retro or modern hipster – depending on who you ask – but these extraordinarily comfortable gaming headphones have been a hit with my gaming teenagers.

The style gives them an almost “steampunk” vibe (which is cool I’m told) and but the quality manufacturing and high function make these a must-have set of gaming accessories. The tuck-away microphone is a nice touch, allowing gamers to go instantly from special effects and music listening devices to a verbal smack down platform.

iPhone 7

So over the past few years I have reviewed 23 different mobile devices and on top of that I have tested and used at least another 23. In that time I have used every variation of Android available, Windows phones, multiple Blackberrys, and even a few Palm devices before they went away. What has been missing though has been a proper test of an iOS device. I’ve toyed with iPads and iPhone and even owned a few different iPods but its never been enough to really get a feel for it. Part of that is because I’ve never bought an iPhone for myself but it also comes down to review sampling for iPhone never being available through the channels we have worked through. Well with the launch of the iPhone 7 that changed, Verizon had a phone for me to check out and I have been using the iPhone7 for about a month and a half. In that time I have put aside any bias and learned how iOS works and tested the new iPhone 7 to see what it is all about. I’m certainly not the first person to cover the phone, but come with me to check out a first time iPhone users experience.

MSI X99A Workstation Motherboard Review

The Intel Broadwell-E generation is where the top end of the enthusiast market crosses over into the professional space. MSI’s X99A Workstation motherboard is based on the same consumer-oriented Intel X99 chipset as its high-end gaming products, rather than the business-focused C612, but with extra features aimed at the workstation user.

Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.682 rolling out to devices not eligible for the Anniversary Update

If you're someone using a Windows phone device that doesn't have access to the Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update, we have some odd news for you. Microsoft has just released a new build for those who don't have access to the Anniversary Update, build 10586.682 is rolling out to devices on Threshold 2 now.

We're not entirely sure why Microsoft has decided to roll out a new build for those older devices or devices that are yet to receive the Anniversary Update, as there has not been an official announcement just yet. This update, much like most other cumulative updates, will likely feature mostly under the hood changes and bug fixes rather than new features.

ZOTAC GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition Review

Under the spotlight today is the ZOTAC GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition. This graphics card makes use of super-compact dimensions which project it into the small form factor arena. Combine the small footprint with PCI Express bus power and we have in our hands a rather versatile piece of kit which also bears an 8% overclock to the GPU.
