ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro SSD Review

When we evaluated the original ADATA XPG SX8200 SSD last year, we found the drive to be a solid value that offered good performance for the money. So, when ADATA mentioned that it had an updated version of the XPG SX8200 available for review that should perform even better, we were eager to check it out. The aptly named ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro is similar to the original drive in many ways, but incorporates a new controller and firmware that cranks performance up a few notches and adds some new features...

Aukey KM-G6 Mechanical Keyboard Review

Aukey effectively replaces their excellent value for money KM-G8 keyboard with the new KM-G6. It keeps the same Outemu Blue mechanical switches and doubleshot-injected keycaps, while adding multi-color backlighting with many lighting effects and onboard controls at that same attractive price point.

Gigabyte RTX 2060 Gaming OC 6G

Since the announcement of the Ray Tracing in the new RTX cards, there really has been no way to take advantage of the technology. Developers slowly adapting Ray Tracing into their games however that takes time. Currently, the only games that support Ray Tracing and Deep Learning Super Sampling are Battlefield 5 and Final Fantasy XV.

GIGABYTE Z390 Aorus Master Motherboard Review

The mainstream motherboard market is still predominantly focused on gamers and gaming features. From the useful to the inane, saying a device is gaming is clearly bringing in the sales, and it becomes an all out marketing war. Each company is clearly trying to build a gaming brand beyond the company name, even if it means always being confused at how to pronounce it (Ay-orus, or Or-us?). Nonetheless, it is clear that each motherboard company is piling on the R&D dollars, as well as the design dollars, to ensure that it can convince users to part with some hard earned money in their next build. GIGABYTEs latest attempt is the Z390 Aorus Master, a motherboard that on paper sets its sights on features, aesthetics, and capability.

Icy Dock flexiDock MB524SP-B Review

Introduction Nearly every system I use to test SSDs and HDDs has an Icy Dock tool-less quick access bay installed. When the company announces new products, I pay attention. There are several companies offering similar products, but Icy Dock is the only company that has consistently provided me with trouble...

MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Ventus XS OC Review

Good looks, good performance, good price. The Nvidia mainstream GPU stack of 2019 is finally taking shape following the launch of GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and GTX 1660. Based on the all-new Turing architecture but making do without the ray-tracing and tensor cores of the RTX line, these GPUs ship from £260 and £200, respectively.

Understanding that pricing is key when a number of graphics cards play in a congested field, we reckon the pair makes most sense at their base prices, because as our results have shown previously, you don't receive a healthy dollop of extra performance by opting for a higher-spec model.

NETGEAR Orbi Voice (RBK50V) AC2200 Mesh Wi-Fi System Review

It's another NETGEAR mesh solution, but with integrated Amazon Alexa functionality - worth £435? NETGEAR has arguably been the driving force behind the rapid adoption of Mesh WiFi, starting with the Orbi RBK50. But a parallel revolution has been taking place that is enabled, or at least made easier, by ubiquitous WiFi: smart speakers. The Amazon Echo range and Google Home were typical Christmas gifts last year.

The question is, how many separate devices do you need in your home, and what if you could combine your mesh with your smart speaker? This is the idea behind the NETGEAR Orbi Voice. It brings you not only NETGEAR’s much-vaunted mesh WiFi, but also Amazon Alexa functionality and quality audio, all in one.

There are two ways of obtaining the Orbi Voice. The RBS40V kit just includes the satellite, while the RBK50V we have on test here bundles a router as well. The router included is the RBR50 from the RBK50 package that was our first taste of NETGEAR’s mesh. But the RBS40V will attach to any of NETGEAR’s mesh offerings as an additional satellite, extending the WiFi alongside its other capabilities.

One Piece: World Seeker Review

I, like many fans, have been waiting for a truly great anime game for years. Dragon Ball FighterZ was a sign that it could be done, but since then there hasn’t been many big budget, ambitious anime titles. That is, until now. Finally we have One Piece: World Seeker, an ambitious open world anime game which promises to tell a compelling One Piece story, while also providing us with a fun open world adventure. Up until now, anime games have been either fun with a bad story or boring with a quality story, rarely both. Can World Seeker break the mould?
World Seeker does a great job of setting up an exciting One Piece story. The Straw Hat Pirates land at an island that the Navy has complete control of, and Luffy, the captain, instantly starts making trouble and fighting with the local Navy captain, who is in control with a legion of unique technology, including robot drone fighters.

If you’re a fan of One Piece, this has a lot to offer. The Straw Hat cast is always a plus, and they all look incredibly animated and designed. This is one of the best representations of anime characters in a game that I’ve seen. There are also plenty of callbacks and references to events in One Piece, both canon and non-canon. Attack animations from characters look great too, from smoke-infused enemies to others that bubble with magma, the animations on all of these effects look wonderful.

ROCCAT Vulcan 100 Mechanical RGB Keyboard Review

We have used the keyboard to write several documents and run a few games; the new Titan switches have a similar feel to MX Brown and thanks to the low profile design and the 1.8mm actuation point, the Vulcan 100 can keep up even during intensive gaming sessions.

ROCCAT Vulcan 120 AIMO Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

The last time we looked at a ROCCAT keyboard, we were quite impressed with the Suora FX. So when we had the chance to take a look at the Vulcan 120 AIMO, we were eagerly anticipating its arrival. Packed with RGB goodness, the Vulcan 120 AIMO is a full-sized, 104-key specimen. So far it sounds like a pretty standard keyboard, but the Vulcan series is actually ROCCAT’s first keyboard to use their own “Titan” switches, which were designed from the ground up for gamers. If you are in the market for a new mechanical gaming keyboard, follow along as we take a look at the ROCCAT Vulcan 120 AIMO.

Tom Clancys The Division 2 Review

Lack of compelling narrative and bugs aside, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is among the best of looter shooters on the market, giving a tactical spin on gunplay that helps it stand out among the rest.
