DreamWare Computers posted a review on the Addonics Mini NAS

Network Attached Storage drives, NAS drives, fall into the category of things still misunderstood by a lot of home users. As the number of computers in your household grows, the possible need for centralized file access between them all also increases. It's a pain to be working on your laptop but need your documents from the desktop, isn't it? Most people still use a USB stick or portable hard drive to transfer their files around. By attaching a NAS drive to your home network, you can make your files not only centrally accessible from any computer on your network, but you can even share them via FTP for remote access too. Most NAS enclosures on their own are well over $100, and ones with built-in hard drives can be double that. When I caught wind that Addonics had a 2.5" NAS enclosure for a mere $70US, I had to check it out!
