OCC has published a review on the Aerocool XPredator X1 Evil Black Edition Case

In the market for a new case? Perhaps that old beige box is finally starting to gnaw at the back of your mind? Founded back in 2002, Aerocool might just have a case for your needs. Today I'll be taking a look at one of its relatively new cases: the Aerocool XPredator X1 Evil Black Edition. How's that for a mouthful? The Evil Black Edition of the XPredator X1 sets it apart from its peers in that it includes orange accents and orange fans - otherwise it is identical to the standard XPredator X1. The X1 is the "mini-me" version of the more well-known XPredator full tower case and is poised to deliver many of the same features in a much smaller package and a lower price point. I will caution you with a word of warning before you read further though - this case doesn't seem to be on sale in the United States at this point in time and the pricing I'm basing this review on is a conversion from the European market. That said, keep reading to see just how "Evil" this case really is!

Closer Look:

When this box showed up on my doorstep my first thought was...what? Why is there a huge tarantula on the side of the box? After a bit of thought I realized that it was supposed to represent the predatory nature of the case (or something like that). Anyway - the box itself is pretty standard fare and shows off an isometric-type view of the case on the front side. It is marked as the Evil Black Edition with a little green sticker and as a fan of the Clemson Tigers I am a bit excited to see some orange accents on an affordable case. Spinning the box around you can see various specs and features of the case that are outlined completely on the Specifications & Features page. Usually by the time you see the box you've checked over all the features already anyway, right?
