Today, we find ourselves working with CPU's that are getting faster and faster, and at every iteration, are pushing Moore's Law to the absolute limits. With that speed and power there does come a cost. As CPU's become more powerful, they are prone to producing more heat, and as any good overclocker will tell you, heat is indeed the enemy. Enter the Akasa 824cu. This is Akasa's latest entry into the AMD cooling field. Topped with an illuminated fan, it is, if nothing else, an aesthetically pleasing solution to your cooling needs as high as an Athlon XP 3000+. It's nice that AMD has addressed some of the heat issues in their newer, cooler running Barton core chips, but today we will be putting this heatsink to my blast furnace of an 1800+ Palomino.
