Amazon Kindle Fire Phone First Impressions
The Quick Burger of smart phones. When Amazon dropped the no-contract, unlocked version of its Fire Phone to just $200, I figured the handset required a second chance. But now that I actually have the device, the value is less clear. On the one hand, yeah, Fire Phone is only $200. But it is also crippled by a gimmicky and non-intuitive user experience that only adds to my doubts about the viability of this non-standard sort-of Android device.Read full article @ WinSupersite
Asustor AS7008T 8-bay Intel Haswell SMB NAS Review
Asustor is one of the recent entrants in the NAS market. Over the last couple of years, they have tried to play in the same space as QNAP and Synology (with units based on the Atom D2700 as well as Evansport). The market where the D15 finds itself in is a cluttered one with literally dozens of options regardless of what your preferences are. Where Noctua has always distinguished themselves as designing some of the quietest coolers around and that's something unique when it comes to higher performance solutions. In an effort to deliver water-like results, it's often a race to the bottom of the acoustics pile but that may change with the NH-D15
Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Review: Smaller, but not less powerful
The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact packs all the same goodness of its larger sibling in a more manageable body. That includes a powerful Snapdragon 801 SoC, a 20.7-megapixel Exmor RS camera, Category 4 LTE, NFC, and IP68 waterproofing. Paired with a 4.6-inch display, the Z3 Compact occupies an interesting position in the market with little, if any competition for anyone that's not particularly fond of the recent trend of massive flagships.Read full article @ Techspot
