"Smart MP" means Palominos are certified for SMP systems. The
earlier T-bird and Duron (Spitfire) cores had some SMP capability,
however they won´t be certified for SMP systems. It is quite possible
that their SMP support was spotty; or more likely they may not
have supported the MOESI cache coherency protocol.
