GamePC has posted a comparison review between the AMD Athlon MP and the Intel Pentium 4 Xeon CPU.
For years, Intel has ruled this market with its dual processor solutions, like the Pentium Pro, Pentium II, and Pentium III, and Xeon families. Back then, all AMD had to compete against Intel with was its wimpy K6-2+ processor, which most workstation users wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole, thanks to it's horribly inadequate floating point performance.
