AMD confirms Radeon Navi and 3rd Gen Ryzen available in Q3 2019

During the annual shareholder meeting, AMD confirmed that Navi architecture will be deployed in the third quarter. AMD Navi in Q3 2019 AMD Ryzen 3000 desktop series, which are based on 7nm Zen2 architecture, will be available in the third quarter. The same applies to 7nm NAVI architecture, which is more likely to replace Polaris in the current stack. The fact that Radeon VII is listed alongside Navi only confirms that Navi will not compete in the upper high-end segment. AMD: In gaming, we successfully returned to the high-end market with the launch of our Radeon VII GPU in February...

Durango: Wild Lands Review

There's an old saying that goes ?big things come in small packages?. In relation to Nexon and What! Studios new open world, sandbox MMO on mobile devices (Android and iOS) that idiom holds very true. Durango: Wild Lands gives us everything we could ask for from an MMO all in the palm of our hand. This is our review of Durango: Wild Lands.

Kubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo - Rather solid

The way I'm Disco testing. I'm a penguin, you know what I mean, and I test my lil' distro on the Tuxwalk. I've written a long, thorough, enthusiastic review of Kubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo, tested in a multi-boot configuration on a laptop with UEFI, GPT and 16 partitions, covering live session, installation and post-install usage, including look & feel, network connectivity - Wireless, Bluetooth, Samba sharing, printing, multimedia support - HD video and MP3 playback, smartphone support - several Android devices and Windows Phone, KDE Connect, partitioning, slideshow, package management and updates, applications, resource usage, performance and responsiveness, hardware compatibility, suspend & resume, battery life, customization, many improvements like visual polish, browser integration and Vault privacy, small problems, other observations, and more. Enjoy.

NZXT HUE 2 Ambient RGB Lighting Kit Review

If you are a PC enthusiast besides your actual PC build the other thing you really take pride in is your PC setup. You want a nice clean desk setup, but what can you do to add a little bling? One of the most common things to do is add some RGB strips, either to your desk or the back of your monitor. NZXT has recently released their HUE 2 Ambient RGB Lighting Kit, which is made to fully immerse you in your favorite game or movie, all while adding that much needed bling to your setup too! These are not just ordinary RGB strips, they are controlled via NZXT’s CAM software and offer an ambient mode where they react to what is going on, on your screen in real time! Let’s take a look…

Rage 2 Review

I don’t think many folks expected to see a Rage 2. The original Rage was a thoroughly fine experience that didn’t sell all that well, and open world games have come a long way since 2011.

Razer Hammerhead Duo In-ear Headset Review

After connecting the headset to our DELL Inspiron 7577 laptop combo jack, we tested the headset with different YouTube content, light gaming and some TV shows: thanks to the dual driver implementation, we are clearly seeing a better bass representation and very clear highs, which is a notable improvement over the previously tested models.

Thanks to the included silicone tips, the shape of the earpieces and the light aluminum construction, the Hammerhead Duo is very comfortable and we did not encounter situations where it would fell out of one of our ears. While lower-priced headsets of this size do distort at higher volumes, these do not have issues when cranking up the volume; however, given the in-ear type of headset, we would not recommend listening at high volumes for longer periods of time, in order not to damage your hearing.

Samsung 883 And 983 DCT SSD Review

Enterprise-class solid state drives used to be rare beasts that commanded heavy price premiums over their more common, consumer oriented counterparts. As leading SSD and Flash memory manufacturers have evolved their processes and technologies, however, availability and pricing for many enterprise-class solid state storage solutions have dropped dramatically. Whereas enterprise SSDs that target mission-critical workstations or data centers used to cost many times that of a consumer SSD, that is no longer the case for some products. Samsung's 883 and 983 DCT drives we’ll be showing you here, for example, are available in relatively large capacities and surprisingly won’t break the bank...

Sharkoon Drakonia II Gaming Mouse Review

Sharkoon's latest mouse is just £36.99 - but is it any good? Sporting a flashy dragon scale print, the Drakonia II from Sharkoon seems perfectly suited to MMO gamers. The aesthetics are certainly interesting but will have the potential to cause a bit of a Marmite-like rift with users. The Drakonia II does feature a number of interesting additions, such as RGB lighting and a total of 12 programmable buttons, so at £36.99 could this be a good option for your next gaming mouse?

Team Group MP34 512GB SSD Review

Team Groups MP34 is a high-end NVMe SSD based on the familiar combination of the Phison E12 controller and Toshiba 3D TLC, but the price drops enabled by the current oversupply of flash memory and Teams decision to offer a shorter warranty period makes the MP34 an affordable drive that is helping push NVMe SSDs further into the mainstream.
