Alienware 13 R2 Gaming Laptop And Graphics AMP Review
You could almost hear the collective groan from the enthusiast community when Dell announced it had purchased Alienware, in what now feels like 100 years ago. It has actually been just shy of a decade since Dell took ownership, and rather than let the Alienware brand wither into irrelevance like some other boutique vendors that were later absorbed by major OEMs (Voodoo who?), Dell's gaming gear division has continued to thrive and innovate with the help of the company's deeper resources.Read full article @ HotHardware.com
If we're being totally honest (as we always are), passionate consumers come out of the woodwork whenever the Alienware name is invoked. Some are rational and offer up observational criticism or praise, as well as personal anecdotes, though we've seen our share of both blind bashing and enthusiasm as well. We bring this up because the Alienware 13 R2 gaming laptop is yet another finely crafted and interesting product that shows why the boutique brand is in the right hands...
AMD Radeon R9 Nano Versus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
When the AMD Radeon R9 Nano graphics card received a price cut yesterday we were excited about it as the third card based on AMD’s Flagship Fiji GPU core was frankly overpriced and AMD was hoping that people were willing to pay a premium to have a small card. The problem is that gamers care more about performance than anything and at $649 they could get either the Radeon R9 Nano or the GeForce GTX 980 Ti. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti beats every card in the Fiji lineup, so the Radeon R9 Nano never really stood much of a chance on the performance front. So, after being on the market for four months the folks at AMD finally decided to slash the price by $150 and that brings the MSRP of the Nano down to $499. With the AMD Radeon R9 Nano priced at $499 that means it is now in the same price category as most NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 video cards. That is not so good news for those that already bought one, but it is a great opportunity for those that have not to get possibly the best performing graphics card at the $499 price point.Read full article @ Legit Reviews
Antec S10 10-Slot EATX Premium Case Review
Antec goes beyond its normal budget-to-professional range in its solid-aluminum paneled S10, but does the performance of this premium-material case help to justify its premium price?Read full article @ Toms Hardware
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-4000 8GB Review
Generally speaking, we only review memory kits that are somehow special, since so many kits are basically clones of one another when it comes to specs. It really takes something special for a memory kit to catch our attention, be it due to their speed, capacity, or some other unique attribute. Today, we have one such product, and we've been teasing you with it in our last few reviews since it is pretty cool.Read full article @ Hardware Canucks
How so? Well we entered 2015 with DDR4 memory kits that had just reached DDR4-3000 and we are closing out the year with the first commercially available kit that does an incredible DDR4-4000 / PC4-32000. We will be reviewing the enthusiast-oriented Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-4000 8GB model, otherwise known as the CMK8GX4M2B4000C19R. This 2 x4 GB kit features a DDR4-4000 clock speed with 19-23-23-45 timings at 1.35V. The R at the end of the model number stands for red, which is the colour of the heatspreaders, since there is a similar model available with a black design. As this is a highly-clocked enthusiast product, this model comes bundled with the Corsair Vengeance Airflow Fan accessory that should help keep the modules cool under load, and the included replaceable accent covers will allow you to tailor them to your system's colour scheme.
Since DDR4 prices have come crashing down throughout all of 2015, this unique enthusiast model retails for 'just' $260 USD/$340 CAD, which is the same as the Vengeance LPX DDR4-2666 16GB kit that we reviewed back in January. To put that into further perspective, the Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-3400 16GB model that we reviewed back in April - which was the fastest DDR4 kit on the market at that time - retailed for $1000 USD.
MSI AIO Gaming 27-6QE-001EU Review
With the Gaming 27-6QE-001EU, MSI has a nice gaming all-in-one its portfolio, which comes with pre-installed Windows 10 and it is based on Intel's Skylake platform. Apart from that the system features attractive features and even the performance should be on a very reasonable level, since there is an Intel i7-6700 CPU inside paired with a GTX980M graphics chip.Read full article @ ocaholic

Noctua NH-C14S Low-Profile CPU Cooler Review
No matter how we try to see it i think we've finally reached a point in time where commercial CPU cooling technology has finally come to a standstill. Sure we have newly designed air and liquid CPU coolers make their debut all the time but nothing is really new in terms of the technology all those products are based on. Luckily we don't need something new since current products are more than enough to keep temperatures in check so with that in mind lately manufacturers have been doing their best to reduce the size of CPU coolers in an effort to cover the needs of every consumer out there. A while back Noctua released their very good NH-C14 low-profile model which combined very good cooling efficiency while at the same time offering compatibility with many HTPC oriented cases. Well Noctua is known to stick with their popular models a little bit longer than others by performing slight "tweaks" and so today with us we have the brand new NH-C14S model.Read full article @ NikKTech
TP-LINK RE580D AC1900 Wi-Fi Range Extender Review
The new range extender from TP-LINK is very easy to set up and you have quite a bit of configuration options available, depending on how many networks you would like to extend or create. The device has a completely redesigned chassis and is now able to operate both horizontally and vertically. By placing the RE580D in a room of our home or office where we had initially slow connection speeds, the extender can solve this by picking up the signal (even better than a Wi-Fi card) and re-transmitting it at full power on wireless and wired interfaces.Read full article @ Madshrimps
