AMD Releases 6 New Desktop Processors: Phenom II X6 1075T and X4 970 Highlight the Launch
PC Perspective posted their review on the new AMD processors

AMD again refreshes its lineup with a speed bump, but it also throws a couple new wrinkles. The Phenom II X6 1075T is not a speed bump, nor is it unlocked, but it helps to flesh out the X6 family of parts at $245 US. AMD also introduces a new barnburner with the Phenom II X4 970. The Phenom II X2 560, Athlon II X4 645, Athlon II X3 450, and Athlon II X2 265 round out the collection of parts. Each is unique in their own special way, and we test every one.

HIS HD 5570 Low Profile VideoCard Review
Tweaknews posted a review on the HIS HD 5570 Low Profile VideoCard

The HIS HD 5570 low profile accomplishes filling a void often left by other manufacturers who don't focus on HTPC videocards in their product lineup. Physically, there is nothing I can really pick out to be a fault for this videocard. The only thing I can mention as a disadvantage is the price.

Computer case manufacturers have had to get very creative to attract your hard earned money. Evercool Hawk 1 Notebook Cooler Review
ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the Evercool Hawk 1 Notebook Cooler

Today we are going to take a look at the Evercool Hawk 1 notebook cooler. Heat in a computer is its number one enemy. The only way to counteract this heat in laptops is to make sure that good airflow is available by making sure vents are not being covered up by anything. This however doesn’t always cut it for some laptops. Overheating can still occur due to higher operations being done on laptops with higher end processing taking place such as gaming. This is where Evercool’s Hawk 1 steps in.

Corsair H70 CPU Cooler Follow-up Tests
Techgage.com published a follow-up to their review of Corsair's H70 CPU cooler, taking a look at the performance differences seen when using different fan and airflow configurations.

After we published our review of Corsair's H70 CPU cooler a couple of weeks ago, we couldn't shake the nagging feeling that some additional testing needed to be done with different airflow configurations. We succumbed, and have the results here. Will using a config opposite to Corsair's recommendation affect the temps? Read on.

OCZ RevoDrive PCI-Express RAID-0 SSD Review
Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the OCZ RevoDrive PCI-Express RAID-0 SSD

Storage standards and bandwidth aside, it's understandable why SSDs were developed on a drive profile first: notebook and desktop hard disk drive upgrades offered a tremendous user-base. Unfortunately, SSDs were introduced with premium prices that rendered many consumers numb with sticker shock. As the technology became more prevalent, prices have also become more affordable and power-users have embraced the performance SSDs are known to offer. Now the market is ready for the next step: high-performance PCI-Express SSDs built for hardware enthusiasts. Enter the OCZ RevoDrive PCI-E SSD. In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests the 120GB OCZ RevoDrive SSD (model OCZSSDPX-1RVD0120) against the fastest storage solutions on the market.

Ozone Strato 5.1 Gaming Headset Review
OCC has published a review on the Ozone Strato 5.1 Gaming Headset

The center and rear speakers (being the only speakers really unique to 5.1 setups) came through intermittently and even then took a while to get used to. In addition to the problems with the surround sound, the headset did not sit on my head very well and was slightly uncomfortable. These issues are rather unfortunate because, in addition to the promising design for the placement of the speakers, the headset has quite a few positive qualities to it. It feels very sturdy and well built, the base audio quality is pretty decent (although slightly lacking in highs), the control pod does everything it needs to do and the whole thing is run via USB.[/quote6

Swiftech H20-X20 Edge Liquid Cooling Kit Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the Swiftech H20-X20 Edge Liquid Cooling Kit

Liquid cooling kits are often a good way for those inexperienced with PC water cooling to "get their feet wet" so to speak, without having too difficult a time during installation or likely chance of failure due to mistakes or mishaps. Some systems like the recent CoolIt ECO or Corsair H50 really simplify things by being pre-assembled and sealed, making them no more difficult to install than most aftermarket air coolers. Others, like the Tt ProWater 850i or Swiftech H20-220 Compact, do require assembly but include all the parts you will need and/or combine some of the functions of each piece for ease of installation. The item that we have for review today falls into the latter category, Swiftech's latest series of water cooling kits, the H20-X20 Edge.

NZXT Phantom Full Tower Case Review
Bigbruin.com has published a review on the NZXT Phantom Full Tower Case

After using the NZXT Phantom full tower case for the last few weeks I have to say that I am pretty impressed with the quality and the look of it. The way NZXT has made this to be both a user friendly case and appeal to the hardcore enthusiast is a plus in my book. And, the near tool-less design is something that almost everyone can appreciate.

Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W Power Supply Review
JonnyGURU.com posted a review on the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W Power Supply

For as long as I can remember, power supplies have been coming to my load tester in the same old rectangular boxes. Once in a while the size of the box will change, but never the form factor itself. Thermaltake has dropped their latest and greatest into my lap today, and to my surprise they've actually tried to do something different. The Toughpower Grand series doesn't just come in a regular metal box, it comes in a box with fancy rounded corners.

Let's find out right now if those rounded corners compromise performance or bring with them a refreshing change in the world of power supplies.
