The present 1950X tops out at 16 cores and 32 threads that run at a peak 4GHz. Intel has just announced a 28-core jobbie destined for release later this year. Trumping both is the second-generation Ryzen Threadripper. Based on the 12nm Zen+ architecture and enhanced Precision Boost feature present on the new Ryzens, the standout feature is provision for 32 cores and 64 threads.
AOC AGON AG352UCG6 Gaming Monitor Review
AOC impressed gamers with their AGON AG352UCG series, which delivered a 35″ WQHD panel with 1800R curvature that naturally conforms to how the eye sees the screen to reduce fatigue while creating a more immersive experience. Refreshing the AG352UCG series with AG352UCG6, AOC delivers their third-generation 35″ AGON curved gaming monitor. In this article for Benchmark Reviews, I test the updated AOC AGON AG352UCG6 gaming monitor with 35” curved VA panel and 120 Hz NVIDIA G-SYNC support at WQHD 3440×1440 native resolution.Read full article @ Benchmark Reviews
be quiet! Silent Loop 360 AIO CPU Cooler Review
In recent weeks we have had a fair number of be quiet! CPU coolers on our test bench. Only last week we saw the release of the brand new Dark Rock 4 range. With those both being air coolers, we were curious to see how one of their AIO CPU coolers would compare.Read full article @ eTeknix
With be quiet! being a brand that prides itself on noise and performance that can sometimes be a difficult combination to successfully marry. This is particularly seen in high-performance coolers which have been designed with overclocking in mind. With the Silent Loop 360 though that is exactly what be quiet! is suggesting it is capable of, but who are we to take their word for it?
We, therefore, put the be quiet! Silent Loop 360 under the scrutiny of our testing. Can this really deliver a top performance while being “whisper-silent” at the same time? Let’s find out!
BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle Review
If I’m to make a confession, I must say that BlazBlue has always intimidated me. I love fighting games but, frankly, BlazBlue’s level of execution and mastery required to pull out some impressive combos is frightening – especially when considering it’s a game with a smaller audience, which makes it that much harder to play online. What’s the point in spending hours adapting to a game which you will seldom be able to play with real people? Unless you’re a tournament regular or have a good group of fighting games fans as friends, it’s a tough sell, despite being so gosh darn good.Read full article @ Wccftech
But with this year’s Dragon Ball FighterZ, Arc System Works stepped away from their difficult brand of fighting game and gave us something where new players can just mash one or two buttons to feel good about themselves, while experienced fighting game players still had layers of depth to dive into. It felt like a renaissance for fighting games, and this golden era is continuing with BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, a shockingly approachable fighter with tons of depth hidden just below the surface.
Cooler Master MasterKeys MK750 Review
Hit the keys! It all started with this set when the new MasterKeys MK750 keyboard from Cooler Master arrived in our test lab. A keyboard that not only comes at a proud price, but also offers the users a lot for their money! Mechanical keys, innovative connectivity and lighting that is second to none. Curious? All this and much more can be found in the current test on OCinside.de!Read full article @ OCinside.de
For the purchase price of about 140 Euro a few metal caps and more magnets in the wrist-rest would have been quite appropriate. However, what convinces us is the perfect workmanship of the keyboard, the flicker-free RGB lighting with some very impressive effects as well as the mechanical buttons from Cherry, which have already proven their efficiency several times.
Cougar PURI TKL Review
The Cougar brand is one that has found most of its success on giving you more for less. The Puri TKL is not much different with its pricing hitting an incredibly low $65 on Newegg for a fully mechanical keyboard, while still providing a detachable cable, and nice features like angle adjustment and LED Backlighting. With this keyboard I will be stepping out of my comfort zone, as I’ve never used a TKL keyboard before and generally buy/review more high end and full keyboards.Read full article @ Wccftech
D-Link DIR-895L Review
At a time when living room-worthy multi-room wifi solutions are becoming more and more popular, we thought it would be nice to review a classic router. The choice for the D-Link DIR-895L was quickly made.Read full article @ Hardware.Info
D-Link, based in Taipei, is a household name in the world of routers. The manufacturer is known for the distinctive design that it gives to some of its routers. If you take a closer look at the D-Link range, you will find everything from the modestly designed DIR-878 to the cylindrical DIR-868L to the eccentric DIR-869. The D-Link DIR-895L we are discussing here is completely in line with the latter in terms of design and looks very similar to the DIR-885L.
EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional Review
Hi everyone, those of you who have read my reviews will be aware I normally review hardware and peripherals, well today I am breaking from the norm and doing a review on software.Read full article @ Play3r
EaseUs is one of those companies that often pops up when you do a search for software to handle disk management that Windows, OSX, IOS and Android fails to cope with, this could be advanced partition management or disk recovery tools.
Today on Workstation 1138 I have the EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional 12 software to review. Lets see how it performs.
Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset Review
ummerset, Elder Scrolls Online’s latest expansion (Chapter) is definitely “more of the same”, but that’s not a bad thing when the game’s become a polished, shining example of a great theme park MMORPG. I’m a PC ESO player, which means I’m out there with all the other pre-order folks playing Summerset a full two weeks in advance of the console players. At this point, the only way I’d play ESO on console is if they announce it was coming to the Switch and was cross-platform with my PC account... keep dreaming, right?Read full article @ MMORPG
Where was I? Oh, right! Summerset. I’ll admit - at its announcement, I was not all too excited about Summerset as the location of the next Chapter. After the nostalgic and god-infused grasp of both Vivec and Sotha Sil in Morrowind and then the Clockwork City DLC, the idea of going to Elf-town Paradise just didn’t seem riveting.

Google Home Vs Amazon Echo: Which Smart Speaker Is Best For You?
Amazon and Google are massive tech giants, for vastly different reasons. Google is the leading search engine provider, a smartphone platform juggernaut, and huge advertising machine, while Amazon is the largest e-tailer in the world and a cloud services powerhouse, though Google is coming up strong. Though they are different animals, these two companies find themselves locked in heated battle with their respective Google Home and Amazon Echo devices; a battle for AI dominance that could determine who will ultimately control a good chunk of the Smart Home market.Read full article @ HotHardware
The Smart Home market has massive growth potential over the next decade and it's an area that Google wants to own. We all remember how late Microsoft was to the modern smartphone market and how Apple and Google walked all over Windows Phone, despite Windows Mobile blazing a trail years earlier. A similar fate could be in store for late arrivals to the Smart Home arena, but unlike Microsoft's Windows Phone efforts, Google and Amazon are making a strong early push to ensure they aren't left behind.
Honor 10 Review
Hot on the heels of the Huawei P20 launch, today we assess the Honor 10. I mention Huawei as you may not know that Honor is actually a sub-brand of Huawei. It is no surprise, then, that the Honor 10 looks and feels very similar to the P20. However, at just £399, Honor’s latest flagship comes with a price that can appeal to a much wider market. Just how good is it?Read full article @ KitGuru
When comparing the Honor 10 and the Huawei P20, they look almost identical – both in terms of design, and in terms of internal components as well. If Honor has been able to bring what is essentially the P20, with a few minor adjustments, to the market at just £399, it certainly sounds like a winner on paper. We take you through everything you need to know before buying.
ONRUSH Xbox One Review
ONRUSH rewrites the formula for what a racing game is, and it's enormous fun because of it.Read full article @ Windows Central
In the (not that old) days on PlayStation, there was an off-road racer with a pretty passionate following called MotorStorm. The last MotorStorm game to release came in 2012, with Sony eventually shutting down the studio that made it, Evolution Studios, in 2016.
Codemasters then hired the out-of-work staff, and now, in 2018 comes ONRUSH. It's unfair to say this is the modern MotorStorm because ONRUSH has its own identity.
ROCCAT Khan AIMO 7.1 RGB Gaming Headset Review
After trying the Khan AIMO headset with multiple games such as DOOM, The Crew 2 Beta, Frostpunk and No One Lives Forever, we were quite impressed by the audio quality and bass representation, thanks to the large, 50mm Neodymium drivers. The headset is quite light and easy to use controls are available on the exterior of the right cup as well (Stereo to virtual 7.1 switch, Volume rocker). The built-in AMP/DAC does allow playback up to 24-bit 96 KHz, making it Hi-Res Audio compatible and great for other multimedia content as well, such as music and movies. We can switch between sampling rates from the ROCCAT Swarm interface or the Windows GUI, but after each modification we would also require to restart the applications that were currently using the controller.Read full article @ Mad Shrimps
