GIGABYTE Z170X-Ultra Gaming Review
It was at Computex 2016 (a matter of weeks ago), that GIGABYTE unveiled their new lineup of Intel Z170 motherboards bearing the names Designare and Ultra Gaming. Today, we’ll be taking a close look at the Z170X-Ultra Gaming – a sleek motherboard which packs in a multitude of features – including Ultra Durable components, a variety of storage solutions such as U.2 and dynamic lighting courtesy of ‘Ambient LED’. Although this board arrives with a strong feature-set, it still maintains the appealing price-tag of £139.99 GBP / $160 USD – over the subsequent pages we’ll be putting this new motherboard under a watchful eye. Let’s begin!Read full article @ Vortez
Hands-on review: Hasselblad X1D
When I spoke to Hasselblad's CEO, Perry Oosting, at the launch of the H6D he made it pretty clear that the company's next camera would be more affordable to attract keen enthusiast photographers as well as pros. And while few would argue that the X1D is cheap for $8,995 or £5,990 GBP (about AU$12,054), it's 'attractively priced' in Hasselblad terms.Part of the reason for the expense, in addition to Hasselblad's reputation for impeccable build quality, is the medium format sensor. Its 43.8 x 32.9mm CMOS device maybe smaller than the 60 x 60mm negatives that we usually associate with Hasselblad – or even the once popular 60 x 45mm crop – but it's still a lot bigger than the 35.9 x 23.9mm full-sensors found in cameras like the Canon 1DX Mark II or Nikon D5.Read full article @ Techradar
In Win 303 Review
In Win has quickly become the master of high-end design cases starting a couple of years ago. Despite the exclusive design, the biggest issue of these cases has always been the price. With the 303, In Win appears to be offering sophisticated case with exclusive design and a price close to 100 euro. Is the company really able to offer a solution which is compatible with high-end components and custom water cooling gear at this price point?Read full article @ ocaholic
LG X Style Review
The LG X Style is determined prove that just because an Android phone is logged in the mid-tier doesn't mean it has to be a chunky plastic eyesore. It can have class too. Okay, the LG X Style that I tested in Seoul, Korea is still made of plastic, but it remains thin and light compared to a lot of monster-sized budget phones that we've reviewed. It's down to 6.9mm.That's the standout feature of this LG X Series handset. LG X Power touts a bigger battery, LG X Mach faster networking speed, LG X Cam two cameras and LG X Screen a second display. This may be the more attention-grabbing phone when someone walks into a store looking for a cheap Android phone, one that looks like a flagship but doesn't cost a lot of money. Here's how to handles.Read full article @ Techradar
Nvidia GTX 1080 Founders Edition
It’s been a crazy month hasn’t it? We have new cards from Nvidia, new CPUs from Intel, and AMD has already announced a new card as well. What a perfect time to start looking at building a new PC or upgrading your current one. Just in time for upcoming games like Quake even! The GTX 1080 might have hit the market a few weeks ago, but they are still hard to get. Today I’m going to finally sit down and dive into what the 1080 is all about. Then I’m going to run it through all of our tests (and maybe a few new tests as well) and find out if it’s worth throwing down $699 to get Nvidia’s latest and greatest.Read full article @ LanOC Reviews
OCZ RD400 PCIe NVMe SSD Review
These days, better performance can be achieved with a PCIEx4 SSD in the m.2 form factor, mounted on a simple PCIe adapter card (that you don’t have to use if your motherboard has an m.2 slot).
