AMD Radeon Pro WX 8200 Review
Professional graphics cards are a segment of the industry that can look strange to gamers and PC enthusiasts. From the outside, it appears that businesses are paying more for almost identical hardware when compared to their gaming counterparts from both NVIDIA and AMD.Read full article @ PC Perspective
However, a lot goes into a professional-level graphics card that makes all the difference to the consumers they are targeting. From the addition of ECC memory to protect against data corruption, all the way to a completely different driver stack with specific optimizations for professional applications, theres a lot of work put into these particular products.
The professional graphics market has gotten particularly interesting in the last few years with the rise of the NVIDIA TITAN-level GPUs and "Frontier Edition" graphics cards from AMD. While lacking ECC memory, these new GPUs have brought over some of the application level optimizations, while providing a lower price for more hobbyist level consumers.
However, if youre a professional that depends on a graphics card for mission-critical work, these options are no replacement for the real thing.
Antec Torque Review

APC UPS 600VA BE600M1 Battery Backup & Surge Protector Review
The APC Back-UPS 600VA BE600M1 was introduced in 2016 as the replacement to the APC Back-UPS 550VA BE550G that originally came out in 2008. I actually bought the old APC Back-UPS 550VA nearly a decade ago and it just recently started giving off an alert that the battery was on it’s last leg. The battery life in one of these units is generally 3-5 years and I basically got double the advertised life from the original battery. No complaints there and the replacement battery for the BE550G is sold under part number APCRBC110 for $35.14 shipped. So, the question that I was stuck on was having to put a new battery in my nearly 10-year old unit for $35 or getting a newer model like the APC Back-UPS 600VA BE600M1 for $56.89 shipped.Read full article @ Legit Reviews
Arctic BioniX P120 and P140 Review
Today we tested on OCinside.de the new Arctic BioniX P fans in 120mm and 140mm. In contrast to the previously tested Arctic BioniX F120 and F140 fans, the Arctic BioniX P120 and P140 fans are optimized for static pressure, offer a 0dB mode and some technical improvements. We are curious how the fans will perform in practice.Read full article @ OCInside.de
FNATIC Clutch2 Gaming Mouse Review
We are back with yet another FNATIC Gear product! All three of the FNATIC Gear products we’ve taken a look at so far have been quite good, so we are excited to take a look at another. Up on the review block today we have the Clutch2 gaming mouse. It is quite similar to the Flick2, as it uses the same PixArt 3360 optical sensor and Omron switches, but is designed as a right-handed mouse. You still have the same number of buttons and excellent comfort too. Let’s get to gaming and see what the Clutch2 can do!Read full article @ ThinkComputers.org

Vega II Logo Trademarked by AMD
AMD late November filed a trademark application with the USPTO for a new logo, for its second generation "Vega" graphics architecture, built around the 7 nm silicon fabrication process. The logo looks similar to the original Vega "V," with two bands marking out the Roman numeral II (2). This logo could appear on the product and marketing on a series of new Radeon Pro and Radeon Instinct (and possibly even gaming-grade Radeon RX?) graphics cards based on AMD's new "Vega 20" multi-chip module. This chip features a doubling in memory bandwidth thanks to its 4096-bit wide HBM2 interface, and the optical shrink of the GPU die to the 7 nm node could enable AMD to dial up engine clocks significantly.Read full article @ techPowerUp
