Overclocked Cafe has posted a comparison between Artic Silver II and the new Nanotherm compound.
The first thing you'll notice when using Nanotherm Blue is it's consistency. For those of us use to the thin somewhat grainy texture of Arctic Silver II, the thick (and I mean really thick) Nanotherm seems to be of a smoother texture when spreading it across a CPU slug. The other differentiating quality between the two TIM's is that Arctic Silver II spreads very easily, almost to the point where it's like applying thick paint, Nanotherm Blue is more like spreading plumbers putty, almost makes you want to get out a putty knife to put it on.Read more
