SubZeroTech has posted a new Review "Aspire ATX-AS500W".

I was given the pleasure of putting the newest Aspire 500w PSU modded power supply up against a Zalman 400w Silent PSU and a Kingwin 450 watt PSU. While both of these other units have their own special features, silence and power respectively, the Aspire aims to topple both with better performance, quiet sound and dashing good looks. These days you have yourself an excuse to purchase one, and there are of course three good reasons to read on. One: you might need some more power for your heavy overclocks, 2: you may want a quieter power supply than your current static 12v based PSU, or 3: you want both 1 and 2 but you also want one of the (if not THE) sweetest looking power supply on the market (in my opinion). And yes, it only costs about $60 shipped. Is it worth it? I will overclock an Intel Extreme Edition P4 system with a Radeon 9800 PRO 256, a gig of Corsair XMS PRO memory and a full Asetek Waterchill system to see if it is up to the task! If it can handle this crazy workload chances are it can handle just about anything. Seeing as how the looks leave some big shoes to be filled by the stability side of things we will look at the appearance first, and then see how well it overclocks in that monster benchmark system?
