AMD Radeon RX 5700 series reach 2.2 GHz with SPPT mod

Unlocking AMD Radeon RX 5700 series performance has never been easier, thanks to SoftPowerPlayTable mod described by Igor Wallossek from Tom's Hardware Germany. AMD NAVI 10 reaches 2.2 GHz This method is not very complicated to implement, but rather risky considering no custom RX 5700 models are available as of yet. This mod increases the power consumption of the graphics card, hence a water block is recommended, such as recently released EKWB block, which is used by Igor in his test.

AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT benchmarked at 3440x1440

AMD launched its new Radeon RX 5700 XT and Radeon RX 5700 graphics cards less than two weeks ago (my review here) and at the time I re-tested all of my cards at all resolutions, taking up multiple 100-hour weeks to get it all done. It was worth it, by a long shot -- but hell, it was time consuming. I wanted to include 3440x1440 results but in order to give you 100% results at the three major resolutions: 1080p, 1440p, and 4K -- I needed to cut 3440x1440 out at the time.

In the last week I have re-run all of graphics cards starting from the GeForce GTX 1060 through to the new RTX SUPER and RTX 2080 Ti, and from the Radeon RX 570 through to Vega and right into the new Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700... oh and Radeon VII too.

AMD Ryzen 7 3800X Review: Core i7 Has a New Challenger

AMD's Ryzen 3000 series has landed, upping the ante with Intel in its high-stakes game for desktop PC market dominance with a well-rounded lineup of new chips that push mainstream platforms to higher core counts and more raw compute than we've ever seen. As a result, Intel's commanding presence in the enthusiast space is threatened in a way we haven't seen in over a decade.

We began with a look at the Ryzen 9 3900X and Ryzen 7 3700X last week and came away impressed, but our review left us feeling like something was missing.

The ASRock X570 Taichi is the latest in a line of premium motherboards that ASRock produce, offering a surfeit of features and performance. Cooler Master GS750 Wireless Charging Headset Stand Review

The Cooler Master GS750 is clearly more than your banana stand from Ralph's. With superb build quality, industry-standard Qi charging capabilities, 7.1 surround sound functionality, and 16.7m color RGB lights; what more could you want in a headset stand? It's even a USB hub! The GS750 has easily earned a permanent spot on the desk of my home office. With a plethora of useful features and great construction, I can't see a reason to use any other stand. I feel that the 79.99 USD price tag is definitely worth it here, especially considering that equivalent wireless Qi chargers are around 49.99 USD.

Cooler Master MasterBox Q500L Review

Small wonder. Is it possible to create a much smaller PC using a regular ATX motherboard? We weren't so sure, but after spending the past few days with Cooler Master's MasterBox Q500L chassis, our expectations of a compact mid-tower enclosure have been reset. Not only has the case managed to house our liquid-cooled AMD Ryzen hardware, it has also thrown up plenty of fun surprises along the way.

Housing a high-end build shouldn't be a problem for any mid-tower in this day and age, but there are a couple of key facts that help the Q500L stand out from the crowd. Firstly, it is readily available for the small sum of £49.99, and secondly, the case measures just 381mm (H) x 386mm (L) x 230mm (W) in size. Such dimensions aren't exactly tiny - we're not talking Corsair One levels of compact - but for a self-build this is one of the most petite ATX solutions around. To put things in perspective, the Q500L has an internal volume of 34L, exactly half that of our be quiet! Dark Base 700 test platform.

Today we are checking out another new X570 motherboard. This time it comes from MSI and it is their MEG X570 Ace. The RX 5700 XT Anniversary Edition vs. the liquid cooled RX Vega 64 and vs. NVIDIA’s SUPER Cards

BTR purchased a $449 RTX 5700 XT Anniversary Edition directly from AMD.com on its launch day. After three days evaluating it and comparing with ten other competing cards by benching it with 40 games, here is our review. Our focus is on its performance compared with the premium liquid-cooled RX Vega 64 as well as versus the RTX 2070 SUPER and RTX 2060 SUPER.
