ASRock Z370 Extreme4 ATX Review: A Solid Coffee Lake Board for Value-Minded Enthusiasts
Can the Z370 Extreme4 balance features, performance, and overclocking against a midrange price for a value victory? Before the idea of an enthusiast motherboard broke completely away from the general consumer market and shot into the price stratosphere, $180 would get you a “high end” board that could be appreciated by gamers and power users alike.Read full article @ Tom's Hardware
Buyers of such boards would usually get an extra local storage controller, an extra high-bandwidth external interface, and a big voltage regulator that wouldn’t be likely to burn out when the CPU was overclocked. In more recent times, though, “high end” has since come to mean something completely different to enthusiasts. Welcome, ASRock’s Z370 Extreme4, to the enthusiast mainstream.
Crucial MX500 1 TB SSD Review
A few weeks ago Crucial introduced their new MX500 series with 64 Layer 3D TLC NAND. After the MX100, MX200 and MX300 follows not the MX400 SSD, but now the MX500 SSD. The Crucial MX500 is available in capacities from 250GB over 500GB and 1TB up to 2TB and offers a number of features designed to provide greater stability and data security. In our previous test of the Crucial BX300 we were already enthusiastic about the Silicon Motion SMI 2258 controller and we are curious to see how the new second generation 3D NAND will perform in combination with this controller.Read full article @ OCinside.de
Huawei Mate 10 Pro Review: Impressive Camera, Battery Life And A Funky UI
In most major sports, there are a handful of teams that dominate the competition and garner the lion's share of attention from fans. The same is true in the smartphone market where there are relatively few established players at the top. Every so often, however, a contender comes along to potentially disrupt the hierarchy, and that is what Huawei hopes to accomplish with its newest flagship phone, the Mate 10 Pro...Read full article @ HotHardware
Intel microcodes now updated for all products from last 5 years
And in a blog post it gives notice of hardware level fixes in processors from H2 this year. In an email to HEXUS, and an associated blog post, Intel has announced that it has updated the microcode for all of the products it has launched in the past five years. Of course, it is talking about the CPU product range and their mitigations against the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities. It may seem like this work has taken an eternity, but it has only been 74 days since the vulnerabilities came to light outside of a tight circle of security researchers and chip makers.Read full article @ Hexus
Intel SSD 760p 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD Review
When Intel launched the SSD 600p Series back in 2016 they rocked the storage market with a solid performing PCIe NVMe SSD series that was available at affordable prices. Intel was able to do this by pairing the Silicon Motion SM2260 controller with Intel 32-layer TLC NAND Flash memory. The result was a series of drives that were was capable of sequential read/write performance of up to 1800 / 560 MB/s and random read/write performance of 155K / 128K IOPS. In January 2018, Intel released the successor to that series with the SSD 760p Series. Intel did some major updates under the hood on the SSD 760p Series as they went with newer Silicon Motion SM2262 controller with custom firmware and the latest Intel 64-layer 3D TLC NAND Flash memory. Read on to see what those changes did on Intel's budget PCIe NVMe drive series.Read full article @ Legit Reviews

Nitro Concepts Series S300 Gaming Chair Review
The Nitro Concepts S300 is an affordable, very comfortable chair with quite a lot of features for its price. It is available in eight different color combinations to cover all tastes, and its dimensions are ideal for larger users.Read full article @ TechPowerUp
The S300 uses that almost omnipresent bucket seat design and integrates basic ergonomics at a low price. It comes in eight different color combinations. Notwithstanding its affordable price tag, the S300 differentiates itself in a couple of ways that make it even more alluring when compared to other chairs with a similar price tag. This chair is covered with fabric, and its sitting surfaces is wide enough despite raised edges. The steel frame and class 4 gas lift allow it to support someone with a weight of up to 135 kg (297.62 lb), and the S300 is also certified with a DIN EN 1335 German office chair certification, which gives German companies a "green light" to use this chair in their offices. According to Nitro Concepts, not many "gaming" chairs are able to obtain this certification.
NZXT H700i Computer Case Review
I have been recently chatting with a few of my friends to reflect on how I behave affects the way people relate to me. While I would like to believe that I generally relate well to my peers, there are still quite a number of areas that I still need to work on. One could say my behavior is mostly a result of my personality type -- ESTJ, or "the executive" -- that is inherent to my nature, it is no excuse to avoid changing to become a better person. One of my biggest challenges is I often think I know better than other people. Back in the days, I used to pick arguments with others who do not agree with me on topics I am passionate about. I do not recall losing any debates over the years, but it sure did not make me a lot of friends. I also used to fact-check people and point out the things they say incorrectly, and I realized that was quite annoying as well. To overcome this, I stopped doing the above, learned to listen better, and tried to genuinely consider what other people are saying. What still needs work, however, is the fact I like people to think I know better than other people because I think I know better than other people. The resulting behavior is a lot of things I say implicitly or explicitly tries to prove something about myself. But why do I constantly need to prove myself? As I thought about this more deeply, I glanced over to the place where my NZXT H700i computer case resides. Our premium matte black and red mid-tower is stunning to look at and beautiful to behold. It simply has nothing to prove about its presence. Is the NZXT H700i a chassis I can take a few life lessons from? Read on to find out!Read full article @ APH Networks
Our review unit of the NZXT H700i arrived in a large brown corrugated cardboard box from the company's American headquarters in City of Industry, California, USA. I was a bit surprised to see a plain brown corrugated cardboard box for a mid-tower land on my doorstep here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, since cases usually come shipped in its retail packaging. As I found out later, the actual retail box was located inside the shipping box for additional protection. Using FedEx International 2day, our H700i arrived in excellent condition for our review today. There were small bumps and bruises along the way, but I consider these usual business and nothing to worry about.
Picture of ASUS X470 ROG “Hybrid” motherboard leaks out
An anonymous tipper has just sent us a picture of upcoming ROG X470 motherboard from ASUS. The motherboard has no branding, except for "Republic" and "Hybrid", so we are not sure if this is a motherboard from Crosshair series, STRIX series or something new like Zenith. There are some Chinese letters on the board, so it could also be designed for a specific market.Read full article @ VideoCardz.com

RAVPower HyperAir 7.5-Watt Wireless Chargers Review
We're starting to see more 7.5-watt wireless chargers hitting the market, and RAVPower is another popular charging accessory manufacturer that's getting into the mix. RAVPower's previous Fast Wireless Charger has been one of my favorite chargers for the iPhone X, but the company has also been working on improvements leading to a recently launched series of chargers under "HyperAir" branding. The lineup includes flat charging bases, a charging stand, and even a power bank that can wirelessly charge your iPhone.Read full article @ MacRumors

Razer Core v2 Review
Can a laptop and external graphics enclosure replicate desktop performance? The arrival of the 8th Gen Blade Stealth Ultrabook came as no surprise - Razer was always going to take the opportunity to refresh its machine with a quad-core processor - but we hadn't expected to see a new-and-improved external graphics enclosure quite so soon.Read full article @ Hexus
Core v2, launched alongside the upgraded Blade Stealth, follows in the footsteps of the original by promising to "seamlessly transform highly mobile Thunderbolt 3 laptops into a desktop-class gaming experience." The premise is simple enough; take a desktop graphics card, pop it inside the Core v2 enclosure, attach to a compatible laptop via a single Thunderbolt 3 Type-C cable and tap into all of that GPU goodness.

SteelSeries Rival 600 Gaming Mouse Review
After installing two 4g weights on each side of the mouse, we started gaming in CounterStrike: Global Offensive, Guild Wars 2, Diablo III but also tried a bit of Agents of Mayhem; Rival 600 succeeded to keep the comfort level optimal even 2-3 hours of continuous gaming and during this time we did not spot any erratic movement. While our lift-off setting was set at 0.5mm, players that use to lift the mouse more during the sessions should adjust the value as necessary. The main sensor (SteelSeries TrueMove 3) remains the same as with the Rival 310, but sports a more aggressive appearance, while much more RGB segments are available for configuration.Read full article @ MadShrimps
